Is anyone else using https://becausepool.com ? Hashrate is high on the pool but there hasn't been any blocks found for a long time now...

We are finding blocks at gameofcoins.net but we can use some help to find even more Smiley

I switched over, mining at about 600 GHs, let's get some blocks!

do the math...

80*60*24 = 115200 BTCD per day.

Now look at nethash... right now it sits at 171TH/s which means... 1 TH/s that yields about .03 BTC per day average would net ~674 BTCD at current mining rates.

That means to make it dead even with BTC earnings in a day, a single BTCD is worth at least 4451 Satoshis.

BUT... the network is growing, and will continue to grow... you should be able to deduce a price using the numbers above and current nethashrate.

I suck at math Sad  but it seems that it should be worth more than darkcoin! Smiley

i figure we will start on an exchange around 0.01 or 0.02, then it all depends on how smart some of us early miners are.
the value should be around 0.05 for sure, depends on how many intelligent people  were among the first ones mining though

1 btcd should equal at least .05 btc... in my opinion Smiley

I'd say that's a fair price. There are only 1.6 million after pow. It'll take a long time (years) for all the pos coins to be out.

Update!

Check the OP

Our first block explorer has been added: H2oco.in/block/index.php

Should be on an exchange very soon.

Thanks everyone for showing your support!

Let's get a better one at some point

Agreed, however we need one to be listed on exchanges.

Anyone open to developing a better block explorer can pm me.

Thanks to whomever developed this block explorer.  I'm very excited by how quickly BTCD is developing.

no error code, it closed while coins unconfirmed and when re-opened I have new address and no coins..

Post you Debug logs.

Is it possible, you didn't get enough confirms before you close the wallet and the blocks got orphaned

Getting error. Same as above. Any advice?

What is your error?

It doesn;t work that way... if a block orphans... it is in the chain... independent of the wallet where the coin's privkey is held.
I understand that. Just doin some poking,to see what the reply would be. Don't sound like were getting all the information. At some point an error would have popped up.  It wouldn't just replace your wallet.dat without notification or evidence.

Sorry playing Detective.

It would if an AV or other security application killed it... I see this with Norton all the time... never a pop up just a log of killing a process and then quarantining the files... makes it look like it all got deleted. Used to happen on some of the PCs I used to have mining a long time ago... the CPUMiner folder would suddenly be empty and the only notice I would get was from the pool that the miner went offline. Had to make security exceptions on every single machine for that folder and the files to keep it from happening daily.

That's pretty interesting, Ive had Norton and Kasperky delete miner software but never a wallet. Glad to know I should keep an eye on that, Im a crypto junky so I was just wanted to understand exactly what happened to his coins. Disappearing coins would kinda suck, just want to be prepaired
