What's the advertising revenue for this faucet?  Would we have to register with those advertisers, or is everything handed over?  Is the website promoted anywhere?  Any tie-ins with venues such as faucetbox?

The highest bid till now is 0.08. Yeah you have rto egister with these advertisers and athen dd this domain. The website is added on almost all popular  faucet rotators/lists. FaucetBox stopped its services couple of months ago

Set some rules please.
- Till what day and what hour (and what timezone) will this auction run.
- Is there a reserve price?
- What is the minimum bid increment?
- Will you provide support to the buyer for the first X period?
- Is sniping allowed?

I am interested but without clear rules I do not feel confortable to start bidding higher.

Sorry, I do not have much experience with the process involved in auctioning.

- Till tomorrow, IST, 10:00 PM
- Yeah, let's keep the reserve at 0.12
- 0.01
- For first 30 days, running a faucet is not rocket science Grin so would help whenever there is any issue.
- I do not know what does sniping means in auction, if you would please clarify, I will answer it.

Thank you for the clarification.

Sniping is the process of placing a bid in the very last second hoping the win the auction with the bid. To prevent this often a rule is set in place that extends the auction for (lets say) 15 minutes from the last bid.
So bidding at 9.59.59 extends the auction to 10.14.59. This process keeps repeating until there have been no bids for 15 minutes.

Wow, thank you for explaining sniping Smiley, I do not think anyone would bid on my faucet at the last moment Grin, but yeah if some thing like that happens then the auction would be extended for 15 more minutes until there have been no bids for 15 minutes. Auctioning is a complicated process Grin

Skepticism is good. There are a couple of reasons I am planning to sell the faucet.

1. I do not have enough time to manage.

2. With the increasing bitcoin price, the ad networks that pay in fiat is not profitable.

3. I have a deadline on February 23 to pay back a loan. I am not expecting this faucet to be sold and pay the loan, but that would be a bonus.

Like I said the profit is around 0.001 to 0.002, like $1 to $2 per day and then around $10 goes into hosting per month, and I do not have the habit of holding on to bitcoins so sometimes when the faucet is dry (bitcoin ad networks pay instantly), but other ad networks have a threshold and then I  have to convert rupee into BTC (fee included). The profit would be more if I increase the rewards and decrease the timer to 5 minutes.

Like the OP said it would be ridiculous to sell the faucet at this point especially since got approved by major bitcoin ad networks so I will wait till tomorrow, if the offer is good I will sell it or keep on running.

Probably wants to sell because he has the knowledge and expertise to create a new one. Everyone is sceptical, nobody should expect this to make them large amounts of money. However, at 2-3 months of his quoted profit per day, him wanting to cash in early isn't ridiculous.

How much profit from all your avertissements?
And how much total do tout pay your users?
Price?

I just changed the rewards three days ago, or was paying 210 satoshis every 60 miniutes, around 0.006 BTC pr day, and with additional pop ads around 0.001 to 0.002 profit per day.
Why do you want to sell your faucet if it makes profit? Need instant Bitcoins? Can you provide proofs of that earnings?
Sorry for all those questions, but I am sceptic.
