How does fee discounts work?
Hi, if you are referring to exchange fees (bitcoin exchanges, trading platforms, stock exchanges, etc) here is how the fee discount works:
For example, when you register at an
exchange through BTCgrinders.com and make a trade by purchasing 1 Bitcoin for $6500, you will pay a fee. We'll say it is 1% to make things easier. 1% of $6500 = $65. If we are offering 20% fee discount or rebate, you would get $13 added to your BTC Grinders' cashier.
Exchange and trading discounts matter most when you are trading on margin, because you are paying much higher fees than the amount of asset you hold. So if you were to open a trade at 100x leverage and you had $1000, you'd have to pay fees for $100,000 instead of $1000.
