Bitcoin reached 6000 $ because people are preparing themselves for next fork where they will receive free bitcoin gold (which is an extra free money for holders) , and I think its price will continue rising (at least for few months later)
Plenty of people buying now before the fork for the BT Gold and afterwards a downfall for all people selling the BTC again. Either to reinvest in BTC afterwards or in other altcoin.
that is the only reason why people hold bitcoin, they want to get the bitcoin gold that can be for free from the second hard fork, and I think it will invite the risk because very high bitcoin volume is circulating in all exchange, I'm afraid if bitcoin will disappear and be replaced with gold bitcoin
this 6000 ATH will stay ATH for maybe 2-3 days only after that will become very difficult low to breach
Am really impressed and and filled with optimism and Bitcoin has nailed a new landmark of $6,000.
Even though the surge in price is as result of the upcoming fork, but still it's a good feat.

This is so crazy. The last two months shall be remembered forever, we went from flash sale $2900 to new ATH $6000 in a month. So sad that I sold it earlier, now I have to rebuy it with some (potential) losses. Guess I'll just hold it tight now, the mega bull is getting crazier.

This is why bitcoin is love by many people. And right now many people that invested in bitcoin especially those people that invested a long long time ago, will rejoice. They are now richer than ever.

this surge move to me look like huge institutional investor, looking for profit, not hodling for the fork, its look heavy now, maybe go down somewhere around 5500-5700

Agree, there will be a drop once people get their bitcoin bold and the alts they sold will be bought back, I don't think it will be a huge drop though.

bitcoin in my opinion will continue to rise and the price will be more than 6000, maybe it's because bitcoin will fork with the release of bitcoin gold, so many people are holding off from selling bitcoin
yes it is, probably will drop again and then blazing through 6500 next week
