Yes, but it seems that some people still mine for "BTE" and anyway it is actually actively echanged on cryptsy.

It is very difficult to find a working pool, so if you try to make solo mining, and you download the client, the only problem, seems related to load a stable node at the client startup.

So I posted these info after some searches on this forum, and just for those who are still interested in mining "BTE" and well know the status of the coin.

updated list (as per sept. 29th, 2013) of stable nodes:

addnode=72.230.168.189:6333
addnode=81.190.222.66:6333
addnode=188.165.19.11:6333

addnode=75.156.209.173:6333
addnode=65.19.151.2:6333

Just to inform the community, this is a reliable node iP to load updated blockchain on your BTE Bytecoin client:
72.230.168.189

just add this line in you your bytecoin.conf file (located at %appdata%\Bytecoin\ )

addnode=72.230.168.189

save the bytecoin.conf file and reload the BTE client; and you will see the client to load (otherwise, will not work at all).
