I had funds disappear after a trade, little different than you guys but the result is still the same. No reply to any emails either.

I had the same problem. And it's pretty strange. Maybe Bter has been hacked?
I sent 0.9998 BTC to my asigned address in BTER:
I was waiting for the transaction arrives, and after 3 confirmations all the time I was reloading the website and clicking at Sync.
Later I checked again the transaction and I saw that my money was sent to another two different address. But my money was never show on my account.

I have 0.000 in my balance. I have no deposit recorded in history, and the same for whitdrawals. And my account is secured with 2factor. So where is my money?

I deposited BTC to Bter.com, it has showed briefly as Processing and disappeared after,

it is the 0.25 BTC, I can see that after receiving it the address sent it somewhere else, anybody has any clues about what is happening to my poor BTC?
I'm afraid never to get an answer from Bter like alot of people are suggesting...
