bter is scam ? i still exchange here and don't see any scam

They were referring to a shady IPO called Bitbay that was hosted on Bter and stirred up a lot of controversy here. Bitbay 's currently down more than 70% from its IPO price, but as far as I know the lead dev is still working on it.

It seems Bter was not involved after all. Even then they have to answer as to why they released the ICO funds. It was mentioned earlier that the release would be in stages depending on milestones achieved.

funds were released from moment one.. and i wil post the chats with lin soon regarding the phantom btc.

There is no reason to trust your chats. They can be easily edited.

no problem.. I got screen shots.. I'll tweet those in a minute.. Hold tight!

lin is a dirty bastard... he still owes me btc that fucker.... and how the fuck can an exchange owner take part in this fraud...

Yet you were quite happy to do so.

I had no clue it was a fraud untill i realized what was going on.. I thought this coin had purpose! silly me.

Are you "International Rob"?

Yes he is

Sorry to blow it up but incase you haven't noticed all of these exchanges are scams using your bitcoin to show "support" on the market... massive manipulation is happeneing everyday.

You fools who are buying are the only idiots falling for this!

it does happen everyday... but in this case there is proof of it and this was a major scam to the tune of over 1400 btc....

I'm sorry, but you sir from what I read are the major scum here. It makes me sick to know that people like you are profiting while the rest of us who work hard (for free mind you) try to make crypto a better place and adopted by people. Karma will come back to get you, one way or another.

As for the topic, I was telling people for the longest time in the Litecoin community to use BTer because ive had good experiences. All of these chat logs changes my mind on BTer, which is really upsetting.

I "had the impression" BTER.com accepted being part of the scam unknowingly but if this is the case BTER.com has some talking to do with the police.

The Chinese police?

do you know Bitcoin is illegal in China Wink Technically all it takes is one very upset Chinese to go to the police station and demand his money back.

so was this a real thing or did BTER.com also cheat the NTX holders?!

You had no clue?  You were in cahoots with them.  Set everything up with them from the beginning.  You knew everything that was going on.  BTer sucks and is a scammy exchange.  Fuck them.  But you're just as much of a scammer, so I hope you don't get the BTC that you're "owed" by them.
