In my opinion we can say the crypto in bull market if the price going up 5x to 100x just like in 2017, and if the crypto just going up 10% to 30% and then going down that i will call only uptrend.
i think if bitcoin rise above $10k maybe we could called it bull run.but if still moved below that level, we was still in bearish trend.and maybe still need long time to recovery.

Until the state regulation of cryptocurrency is introduced on a global scale (and this will happen in June-July 2019,FATF), we do not see a good bull market. In the next 2-3 months, the bitcoin exchange rate will stabilize around 3800-4000 dollars.

I think you should forget this idea. Because it cant happen in near future. The investors have lost their confidence in crypto. Any bad news now can make them selling their coins in panic.
Maybe we are facing such depressions right now but we should not forget that cryptocurrency is such a volatile and risky investment. If you will not take risks like holding your coins up to the present even with a continuous fall, then you will not gain profit if a bull run suddenly comes in.I know it will still come but the time is uncertain.

How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"

Actually I get into Cryptocurrency last year which I really don't know how high it was but regarding to this year I think is going to beat last year I see Many analysts are still predicting anywhere from $25,000 -$40,000 Bitcoin prices in the near-term. If BTC can go from $2651 on this date in 2017 to almost $20k by December why can’t it go from today’s “sagging” price of $6168 to over $30k over the next 6–8 months? Bitcoin is still the gold standard of all cryptocurrencies.

20-25%: It is exactly the growth of the coins that can be called the bull market. I believe that we will see this bullish trend very soon, in several months.

In my own definition, bull market happens when their is good news of cryptocurrency everywhere in the market and new people are coming into the space. When the demand is more than the supply, this causes bull market

It isn't really gonna be that typical 20$ an hour that we can consider a bull market. It is gonna be that usual felt by the traders that it is really the bull run. It is gonna be up to everyone's judgement on how bull market should be ran.
Yes there is no limit on here because normally the prices can swings a lot like $500 in an hour so we can never predict that when the bull market starts maybe we can conclude that the price of cryptos increased 20% or more in few days might results in bull market.

We have experiencing this every year and it's totally not new for everyone but a long bearish trend definitely gives worries for newbies.  At the start of the 3rd quarter we expecting for bull runs to start but we are just failed. But there is still enough time to recover may we could see good trend before 3rd quarter ends.

A bull market will occur if there is good news that can trigger an increase in bitcoin prices at the exchange place if there is still no good news, it seems that it will be very difficult to do a bull market.

Yes, Everyone is waiting for ETF. If EFT is approved (which is very likely to be approved), it will bring big boost in the crypto world and you can not imagine how big this will be for bitcoins and altcoins. I think it is time people should realize that by the end of this year we will have another big bull run. We have be in bear market for last 7, 8 months and now it is time for start of bull season.
Keep your hopes alive.  Smiley

Can someone explain me why an ETF is such a favorable thing? Bitcoin has survived without this for a decade, and suddenly everything pivots on wether there is an ETF or not (or whatever other system that helps large investors). Shouldn’t we want bitcoin to be bitcoin, somewhat equally distributed among a world population, before making the rich...more rich?

i think it is not about how much it is but how long it will keep to increase. because if it only pump in short time and then down again, i think it is bull trap because only to make traders that not have a lot of experience to join stream of market

You can see that the bull market has ended and is now a bear market, and you can see that bitcoins have been steadily dropping over the past seven months and are now down more than 70% in value. Only at $ 6000. I believe that at this time you should not invest long term in bitcoin and only make short term investments and day trading to be profitable with the least risk.

When the bull market comes, the price of all coins will continue to increase, there is no limit to this increase, and such an increase does not distinguish the type of cryptocurrency, such an increase is called a bull market!

To me, I can only say we are in bull market when current price is more than the previous bull run

The market today is not a bull because the price is stacked at $6k dollars, there is a huge chance that bitcoins will grow for over $50k dollars since more people in the market today can invest a huge amount because of the governments legalization.
I think similarly, bitcoin should see at least one more dip and after a long wait, we can see another bull run.. But when bitcoin stays stable, there are altcoin parties.. Everyone can benefit of it.

Bull market is the price going up in several month, like last year from january to december the price of BTC keep going up. Bull market will changed to bearish when the price overbought because many trader become seller. I hope end of this year bull run will start again so everyone can make good money.
