I guess the "this is a simple question" part is sarcastic! Every period can be bullish or bearish for specific coins and tokens, and we have periods when the majority in the crypto space go up/down in price and that is bullish and bearish crypto times! Nobody can't accurately predict when something is starting and ending, it's why we have trading!
If the market moves upwards i.e. there is bullishness in it, then we call it a bull market.if the market sensex head continuously upward for years or months then only we call it bull market.if the SENSEX head continuously downward for years or months then we call it a bear market.for bear market ,the market should fall at least 20% down from the peek.similarly for the Bull market,the market has to go 20% up from the bottom.

there's nothing wrong with the OP's question in this thread, maybe he's looking for an answer based on what he thinks and is trying to discuss it with the community. true, no one can accurately predict when the market will experience a bull trend. but at least you can discuss it here while checking the previous chart as well as market sentiment, and all the mechanisms to analyze any market developments. it's not easy, but at least you have an idea of the state of the market so far especially when the market is experiencing a bear trend, that way you can speculate on investing in coins or buying bitcoin.
Bear market will end soon once global economic will be recovered but i don't know exactly when that would happen. Bullish will be following it for sure. Be patience. bear market will not always be last forever. People have been preparing themselves for that time.

everyone can make predictions. even you too. Do you mean tokens from bounty projects or altcoins that are in the top 30 market caps? If you have an altcoin that is in the top 30 market caps, it's better for you to hold it now and don't sell it just yet because market conditions are still weak. But if the token you have is a token from the bounty project, you can sell it if the token has no potential to increase in price.indeed if the coin is a potential coin of course what we need to do is keep it on hold because as you said that the current market conditions are not the right time to sell it,

Actually, we will not know exactly 100%when the bear market this season will really end and when the bullish market will exactly start. Because market crypto is very npfrdictable. But at least, this year may be still the bearish market. Commonly, usually, the bullish market will start happening if the Bitcoin Halving has been done and it will need several months to be realized. So far, we have also seen that many people will be very happy for waiting for ebcuase they are able to buy more coins during this crash and pets to have higher in the next bullrun. There is no real date for bull market and the theoretical halving of Bitcoin will start by 2024, I think when bitcoin start it run up to compensate miners for their revenue and annual money they generate for bitcoin, other coins will follow the run because it is bitcoin that always lead and the altcoins do follow and it possible that we may have another trend of tokens and coins. If there is anew trend by that time, expect to see some crazy moves in price of tokens, that is the period you see the blockchain of many coins do become congested, there will be a lot of Frenzy in the Market and so many newcomers with free money to buy any coins of their choice.
