I am not sure if bull run is over or not, because if we take a look at the trend of bitcoin price, we can see the downtrend. The price of bitcoin now is just $39k from the peak price $62k. Lets hope the best for crypto so we can dig more profit
We can say that it's just a downtrend but not finally over. But it's hard to maintain the positivity that we're still in the bull market because the market has been not the same anymore from what we're a few weeks or month ago. But needless to say, we're just going through again from the past prices that we've been a few months ago and that's still a good number to be considered and say that we're still really in the bull run and it's not yet done.
We wont know until it would be proven out because we have seen several times of these kind of dips or corrections to happen and eventually make out some recovery later on.
For now if this down trend would continue for a while or in months then we can definitely say or tell that the bull run is over and here comes the another winter run in crypto
market specially now that there are lots of sentiments or news that floats around in the market where its really hard to believe on that we would be seeing
some recovery in shortest time as possible.

it is not certain whether the bull run has ended here, what is clear is that the correction has occurred in the last few days, if the price of Bitcoin is able to fall below $ 30,000 it may be said that the bull run is over because the decline in market prices will return to near the $ 20k range again.

The Bitcoin market is being manipulated and with the way it keeps crashing we are likely not going to see Bitcoin hit $100k anything soon, the bull run got busted ever since Elon started posting shit about dogecoin t will take a long time to hit 62k again. An altcoin is the future try and gets on the train while it lasts.

Dogecoin killed the current market and with ELON and currently CHINA again with its ban the market is going down
But 100k might be reached until the end of the year.If the price starts to raise in the next week we can see a easy 2x maybe even a 3x on most of the alts

my opinion about bullrun ending is yes this is over for bitcoin, but the begining for altcoin, bitcoin dominance shows at 40%,
and Bitcoin dump 40%, yes this is normal, because many people sell bitcoin, and maybe after this it will There is an altcoin season,
yeah everyone is waiting for, but remember, altcoin season has actually happened, look Doge, ETC, ETH, XRP, XLM, TRX,
yup all altcoins have experienced fantastic increases.so the choice is yours, hold altcoins or sell your altcoins

The prediction could be true, but a bit risky if Btc keeps downtrend in the next day. We will suffer more blood and we could be see more bulltrap.
Big whales enjoy the bloodbath while small investor like us cry on it.

For now, Bitcoin is going through a critical moment, more than 60% has fallen after the last ATH, the bearish have predicted this whole scenario, which is no longer so normal that this correction is so strong, however the most intelligent are Buying in the fall, the same is happening with the highs, because the Bitcoin market when it falls all the highs suffer and fall much harder.

One of the reasons why it is falling is because CHINA is waging war against BTC and cryptocurrencies, this is something that comes from a long time ago, when it is convenient for China to do FUD but FOMO, the other reason is the huge FUD that Elon Musk has done and the other reason more expanded with the Cointelegraph article has to do with DXY.

Quote
At the time of writing, the U.S. dollar currency index (DXY), which measures the USD against a basket of trading partner currencies, had bounced off long-term support to reverse its downtrend.

DXY is traditionally inversely correlated with Bitcoin, and together with limp stocks, the conditions are right for tripping up bulls’ progress.

Nonetheless, Wednesday’s DXY close was its lowest since Jan. 6.

Source: https://cointelegraph.com/news/stocks-china-and-the-dollar-3-reasons-why-bitcoin-price-is-tanking-below-40k

And my personal reason is because I believe that everything is merely speculative, that is, they want to buy Bitcoin and the best way to buy is cheap, therefore doing "SHORT" taking advantage of all the FUD is a unique strategy, getting the BTC from the hands weak.

I don't see it ending yet. It's a big correction that cut a huge percentage from the high that we've seen first to bitcoin and other altcoins too. Although, I agree that the fundamentals that have been achieved can't easily be removed even if we're going to the bear market already.
But all of these are speculations and if we see the market don't recover anymore or if it recovers and that's only a bit, that doesn't mean that we're already out of the bear.
A correction that could lead to a bear market, bitcoin is heavily dumped now, this is the kind of scenario I've seen in the past and I think we are already here and bull run is really over. Well, it's been 6 months I guess that the market is bullish, so it's just correct to see a correction since it's already due.
It's not even 1 year from the start of the bull run and the price was still higher before the bull run has been committed. That's why I believe that it hasn't ended yet.
If the time comes and it goes as low as $10k then that would probably a harder time to accept. But with things going with the market, let's just enjoy it and it's not moving our hearts anymore unlike before especially if you've sold some during the peak.

I think I already saw this scenario where bitcoin struggle to get back to the price it has previously him.
Just Bitcoin get back to $50k but it didn't stay long, so I guess the trend now is already bearish, or this is just a temporary and short term correction?

Also, as we can see, altcoins are pretty much affected, most of the coins in the top 100 of the CMC has been significantly affected, most of them are reddish at the moment.

We can see the coins (https://coinmarketcap.com/_
actually you have created the thread so early mate because back in febuary the Bullrun continues and make it thru multiple ATH ,
But if you are talking about this time then yeah you maybe correct because the Bullrun seems to be dying and the market comes Bloody whole time.

Yes, you are right, my prediction was wrong at that time and it looks like this time it's really the end of the bull run.
Bitcoin almost dumps below $30k, I was watching the going down, a good thing it has slowly recovered and back at $35k  now, but I'm still not certain if it will really bounce back, I will just continue to observe and let's see what's next.

Exciting times coming ahead, time to buy, and time to accumulate cheap BTC.
To be honest, predicting bullish and bearish cycles would be a story so using a long-term milestone would be more accurate, short-term judgment will not be completely accurate because the market as you see it, it will have extremely bad days and lack of recovery but sometimes in the moments when we lose faith the most, recovery is suddenly accelerated. For this question, our perspective needs to be more open and aimed at a futures market, predictions for a few days and weeks are too easily reversed, this time you will be wrong but next time, you may be right or vice versa

I still hope that the current correction even though it has led as you expected where the predicted bull run has started to end, but I still believe that it did not happen, it is purely just a correction that may have been very sharp.

because I believe that this correction due to the influence of @elonmusk is very visible which greatly affects many investors and companies who are affected by what he said. resulting in bitcoin being very annoyed with it.

because I really believe that until now the halving has not happened, because so far it is due to the increase caused by @elonmusk, what might change is that the final prediction of the price which should be fantastic might not happen.

It should be remembered that the halving will occur at the end of this year, but it might be November and December to be exact if we look at the first and second halvings. so it remains that the bull run has not ended and will still occur at the right time it will again increase.

It is really hard for me to speculate over altcoins right now as their price drop just because Bitcoin is heavily dumped in last days. I think we are not there yet: I mean bear market. But this bear trap is so attractive to many investors, they may crash coin market without a reason, which is sad. I still hodl my both bitcoin and altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, Cake, GET Token etc.

Bitcoin is dumped by 13%, that's only a 24 hours dump, I think that's the biggest this year so far. Because of that, altcoins dumped more than btc dump, some dump over 20% and that is too big for 24 hours movement. Bitcoin dominance is still at 41%, it's still low, investors has no choice as altcoins and bitcoin are both dumping, let's see how low bitcoin will dump, hopefully it will not go back below $20k.

That's so huge for most movements this year this 13% fall within a day is really affecting the sentiments of the entire market.

Many are following the dumped as they are fearing to suffer more, we see another massive selling and there are few strong holders who still in hope that the market will pumped back the same way it does before.

You needed to analyze more as the directions still unknown. Invest wisely not to rush things up.
Actually Bitcoin did dump close to this one when it first reach the 40K milestone price. You can check it on price history. The current dump is so big because Bitcoin pump hard on consecutive weeks since the bull run start plus some from Elon and Miners. The market will recover soon as long as institutional investors will still hold there crypto assets.
