Morning, m33. Thanks for that info.
Keep an eye on this, guys: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-06-03/saudi-said-to-ban-currency-products-after-probe-into-peg-bets
Every drama with a national currency makes cryptos a more acceptable investment.
If you want to test actual Pi version contact me.
If you want to know how to compile on Pi I can also help you.
I am still searching tester for Pi, it's very hard to get some tester actually so I would love to get some, because i can't test it on my Pi B+ so I really need it...
PS: every coin, even Bitcoin are using old DB version, when you start with a version of it nobody change because it's hard to deal with the local db migration without losing your private key (private key=your fund)
What's the minimum Pi version that we can use so we could check how much will it cost us to make use of it?
You must use a Raspberry Pi 2 B at minimum (in fact any board with 1 gb of ram is enough).
And you need a MicroSD of 16 gb (8gb is ok but i recommend a 16gb to be sure) and this microsd should be a microsd of class 10 to have a good I/O speed
Although my technical understanding of The Pi Thang is abysmally bad, I gather from other IndiaMikeZulu guys that I should get one. So I will eventually get one!
And:
'The authorities in China are desperately trying to shore up growth. Eurozone finance ministers have all but guaranteed that, sooner or later, the Greek crisis will flare up again. Most pressingly, the US economy looks to be heading for serious trouble.' [And Japan is stuffed.]
https://www.theguardian.com/business/2016/jun/05/american-economy-brexit-seems-biggest-problem-westMy personal interest in cryptos is political, hence my interest in developing them as (non-governmental)
currencies -- not necessarily to make a buck, but to provide an alternative to our deeply corrupt political and banking models.
Want CBX to literally thrive? If every CBX enthusiast set up just one family member and one friend with a backed-up-and-synched wallet, and then starting buying and selling things with others in that network -- 'currency function' -- our volume and then price would steadily rise. Then, when-not-if the yuan and riyal and pound and dollar and yen and the euro
really start falling to bits, CBX will be established as an alternative.
