Vote for CBX on Cryptopia. Every round is one week and after it will be reset.

Thanks BTCat, looks promising. I like their layout with exchange, marketplace, mining, etc all in one.

Good voting guys, but not good enough yet. We need more support. If you were too lazy to vote then please wake up and help us, it adds value to CBX.

edit: Looking better now. The biggest competitor reached 1 mill in DOT votes so that one does not compete anymore, looks like we're gonna make it  Wink

Registered and voted. Are they going to be consolidating the CGB and CBX votes? Also, any experience with this platform? I have never heard of it...

It looks like they did that, we got double amount now. I suppose we're gonna need at least 110. Pls all help, we could use a few more markets.

If "we" are lazy we could get listed by sending DOTcoins, last week a coin won with 110,000 about 0.03 btc or 1 million will guarantee listing, 0.25 btc or so.
(Willing to donate some if others do as well)

Love the new styling. I'm still trying to get to grips with the new features, it would be great if we had some guides written up about them.

Yes, we will have to put together some tutorials for posting on the website. Hopefully some in the community can assist with this?

In the interim, here is a very good multisig tutorial. It is tailored for Bitcoin, but applies to CBX as well. Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks for the multisig tutorial. There's nothing quite like a video for explaining things simply.

Hello all,

It has been just over one week since the re-branding of Crypto Bullion and the associated release of the new Vault (client/wallet). This has been an extremely proud time for the CBX team as much hard work and time has gone into preparation and development to get to this point. I hope that the community feels good about the rebirth of CBX and the capabilities of the core team leading this change. Special thanks and credit to raizor for coming into this project some months ago and ascending to the lead developer role - we are fortunate to have you!

We would also like to take the time to thank the community that has stood behind this project since the beginning as well as to thank the newcomers, you are appreciated and valued! Should any of you be interested in assisting with taking CBX to the next level and beyond, please reach out. The main goals for CBX are to continue innovative and technical development and to provide ease of use for all. These 2 goals in tandem we are confident will lead to the ultimate goal of mainstream acceptance. Make no mistake, these goals will be reached, but can occur quicker when supported by a community. Everything from artistry, coding to promoting and everything in-between is helpful so please get involved.

Back to the new Vault. Would love to hear more feedback from the community on this release - both positive and negative. This is a work in progress and will continue to evolve with new features and ease of use.
 - How is the startup time improvement?
 - Do you like the new look?
 - Has anyone tried multisig?
 - Bullion control??
 - Any issues or bugs?
 - What new features and functionality would you like to see?

In a related note, thank you to BitcoinFX for identifying a small bug in the Vault that does not allow the user to change the encryption
passphrase while the wallet is locked. The 'OK' button to confirm this function is missing in the current release when the wallet is locked. This has already been fixed in the source code and will be released in the
packaged builds soon. Additionally, BitcoinFX reported experiencing compatibility issues with the new client and an old wallet.dat. This
was resolved by using the dumpprivkey command for extracting the funds from the old wallet and then importing to the new wallet via the importprivkey command. If you encounter this issue and need assistance with the outlined resolution, please reach out and we will be happy to assist.

Lastly raizor is currently looking into the possibility of incorporating vanity address generation directly into the Vault as well as implementation of merged PoW mining.

More to come...

 ~ CBX Core Team

p.s. Lent has begun today. If you are still searching for creative ideas of what to give up for the next 40 days, may I suggest giving up selling CBX. You will feel much better in 6 weeks  Tongue

Great work CBX team!

Crypto Bullion I think as a storage of wealth is going to be up there with gold (if not higher) in the future, and has successfully rebranded.

I am also impressed with the 16,000 followers you've accumulated on Facebook, shows growing support for a real corporate digital asset.

I've been mining since December 2013 when Dogecoin launched, so have around 1,000 CBX staking.

If 1,000 people all had 1,000 CBX then they would be all in cold storage that would be VERY rare indeed.

What's The Next Stage?

Presumably working with wealthy corporations in Dubai, Hong Kong, Europe and major international asset or financial capital holders is next? Each CBX could easily be worth more than $1 million USD. Is there a strategy for attracting the attention of high profile investors? It feels like CBX is on the verge of making significant progress.

Keep up the good work, values will continue to steadily rise I think in the near future.

CBX Vanity Wallet addresses would be a fantastic addition like IOCoin has done!

Thank you for stopping by and also for your long time support. You bring up some excellent points regarding the next stages of CBX growth. Now that the new client is released we can better move in the direction of growth and expansion. We also are working behind the scenes on continued evolution of CBX itself which will assist greatly in these endeavors.

Regarding the vanity address, this subject has come up in the past and is certainly a nice feature to have. We will have to schedule this for a revisit.

and I've added the paths in GUIminer and chosen a card profile, and made it direct to localhost and port 8332 but I'm still getting "no servers could be used."

RPC port for CGB/CBX is 8395.

I was looking for some info on the website etc. but I would agree there is not a good section with information for miners.
I'm not a miner but I'm sure someone will try and help you out.

Yeah, that's why I was asking. I'm good with Google, but not very good at learning about the five bazillion different versions and protocols of cryptocurrencies.

Hell, it's probably better right now to keep mining Digibytes, unless the difficulty on CBX is ludicrously low.

EDIT: http://cbx.binpool.com/ This pool has all of the settings you need to start mining with GPUminer! Sorry to have bothered all of you.
At the moment, it's probably more valuable to mine something like Myriadcoin or Digibyte (which I recommend) and trade for CBX.

Hey, can you guys tell me how to mine CBX? I'm really new to mining cryptos, but I can give a few cents in RDD or DGB if someone would take the time to tell me how!

Hi. First post your hardware else no one can guess how it should work.

Read this for some introduction: http://www.coindesk.com/information/how-to-set-up-a-miner/

Hi sorry, R7 260X OC.

I've tried to set it up using GUIminer but I've had nothing but errors. I've set it up with Dogecoin before, but I'm just having trouble here. Sorry.

I've made this config file for it:
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
DNSSEED=1
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0
testnet=0
listen=0
maxconnections=100
addnode=173.230.133.205
addnode=72.78.100.7
addnode=70.98.114.237
addnode=192.81.209.17

addnode=37.187.9.53
addnode=216.158.85.123
