Generally it's the old fork that change ticker, if some people keep it, not the new fork.

Nada y Tú?
Is the hard fork absolutely required? I'm concerned since this might lead to a de-listing from Cryptopia right? They like coin swaps even less. We've been listed as CBX on Yobit and Cryptopia for a long time, anyone who follows the coin knows not to buy on Yobit. I would really rather see it stay the same unless there is a fundamental reason for the change.

We have made hardforks in collaboration with Cryptopia a few times before, there were no issues. Cryptopia de-lists coins who meddle with their blockchain, which is something we will never do.

If nothing changes, then everything stays the same; including value and price. We are committed to bringing the modern cryptocurrency features that are inline with Crypto Bullion's "Precious Metal" ideology that will increase usefulness and add value.

Awesome - feeling much better now. I vote for no change, CBX is just fine.

In a few months we'll have some good news for the community. We are working on something that will put CBX on the map for good. Smiley

Stay tuned -Calvin

Thank you for letting us know about this exciting project, we can't wait to hear more.

I am not sure I understand the voters for 'no new ticker'. Can someone provide their reasoning for voting this way? Would like to hear the thought process.

Per my understanding, presently there is an issue with the CBX that is trapped on YoBit. YoBit will not allow withdrawals and every week or two we have someone on this thread who purchased CBX on YoBit complaining that they cannot withdraw. This eventually results in them having to dump the CBX they have there so they can get a different coin that is still allowing withdrawals. So the buyer/seller in this example ends up losing money and not getting the CBX they wanted and CBX ends up with downward price pressure - even though it is outside of the 'real' ecosystem.

The only solution for getting CBX unlisted or fixed on YoBit is to pay their ransom to do so. No guarantees of how long this expensive band-aid solution will work.

So with the new ticker YoBit would be forced to update to the newer fork or they would continue listing the old 'CBX' whereby the potential buyer would have more of a fair opportunity to realize the risk they are taking in purchasing CBX at a discount with the hopes of withdrawing and converting to the new fork.

Additionally this will allow the overall crypto community to see the change occurring in CBX and visit the opportunity to get in early - growing the CBX economy as a result.

These are my thoughts regarding a new ticker, curious to hear the opposition...

see no point in paying as they might just keep quite after taking the payment , but better to change so that new buyer who think they found a cheap buy at yobitch from losing btc

Can XBX be put on the options list?

XBX sounds a lot like X-box, no?

I did choose to keep CBX. I like the ticker the way it is, and yobit isn't going to be a problem as we move forward, people simply won't trade CBX there as they don't now. (...)

Allow me to disagree on that one. Surprisingly enough, Yobit is still not dead, and as long as it can scam its users to buy coins which people can't withdraw, fellows are going to buy CBX there, we see this happen more often than you think. It's our responsability to make it as obvious as possible that buyers there are not getting the real deal.

Good points F*D

It's a good point you make about showing that Cryptobullion is changing to the cryptosphere, and this will attract some curiosity and new interest.

Main problem regarding my choice is that I don't like any of the ticker options that are given in the poll.

CB2, CBN, CBL, CBU are all way better alternatives IMO than the ones we have to vote on.

I would still rather stick with what we have though.

Never invest with borrowed coins
Small question:

If an addy have small tx amount like
-100 cbx received 3 hours ago
- 50 cbx received a day ago
- 50 cbx received 10 hours ago
100 cbx received an hour ago
200 cbx received 6 hours ago

they will join to try to stake like one 500 cbx tx ? or it's better to send all those amounts to another addy to get 500 cbx tx in one shot

Thanks for your reply.

how much you have ? need min of 400 per block, lower than that will take a long time

Hello m33, it's just a general question to know if i have to merge all tx in one tx transaction by moving them or not

Pretty sure it is done automatically for you and merged into one for staking.

not sure if it does it in the background or what , but it takes a log time for it to merge on its own, i am getting about 1 cxb daily, so i am happy moving them when it needs moving. if you block size is small it takes a lo0000000000ng time to stake and than merge. my 2 cents
