Meron ngang isang famous quote na "If you can't beat them, join them" at ganun ang ginawa ng China.

Today’s collaboration aims to integrate the BATFB with Hong Kong’s own trade finance blockchain, eTradeConnect. Many of the banks are active on both platforms through subsidiaries. The Hong Kong network’s members include multiple Chinese bank subsidiaries as well as international banks such as ANZ, HSBC, Standard Chartered, and Singapore’s DBS Bank. eTradeConnect was developed by China-based OneConnect, a subsidiary of Ping An, and launched in October 2018.

Cheesy

There is no need for a certain amount of time para magkaroon ng effect or pag galaw sa market. Just hodl and hoard and that would really makes a lot of sense.

^ Well, we can still speculate on what they will do next.

They might allow trading of coins that did not raise funds thru ICOs.

I doubt that they will ban crypto entirely but the ban on using it as a legal tender might remain. Looking at the recent announcements, they will be pushing for their national digital currency while earning from cryptocurrency miners. My 2 cents sats.
After they banned trading cryptocurrency on 2017. Is it no surprise na halatang mag take advantage sila ngayon sa mining on purpose of something that they have cooking up. However, I will not insist of what china is doing right as it still meaningless to think about it.

Mukhang nag let go na si China sa regulations nila about sa BTC mining ang China. This could be a call sign para sa bullish run ng BTC for this end of the year, we never know though. Long story short, nagkaroon na ng MoU ang dalawa para magproduce ng trade finance platform that could potentially be a"more convenient trade finance".

In all honesty, ang pag push ng China for blockchain development and slow acceptance nila sa BTC is really awe inspiring since they truly trust the potential of those, and I do as well, which makes it really awe inspiring for me. The end of the year na pero dumadami pa rin ung moves ni China towards positive response sa adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain tech, which is evidently good news for the crypto community right?

Source: China removes ban of Crypto Mining
China and Hongkong signs an agreement.

Maybe China did that just to give way sa future development nung national digital currency nila. If ever mag-materialize talaga yung plano ng China to create their own cryptocurrency, maybe, they wouldn't want someone out of their borders to mine their own national crypto-coin, malamang mas gugustuhin nila na sila-sila 'lang din mismo mag-mina nito and they can't do that if banned yung crypto-mining.

China can't no longer deny na may makukuha silang benefits sa blockchain, parang wll planned din yung announcement to updates na ginagawa nila ngayon na parang they're trying to manipulate the market or to create a hype kahit we all know na there is still banning ng cryptocurrencies sa kanila. Slow move to accepting crypto na din sana kahit na they plan to na magkaroon ng centralized coin nila. pero yung mga updates nila can influence talaga to bull run Lalo na't paparating na din ang halving.

THe news was 8 hours ago.

They probably realized a long time ago na hindi talaga pwede talunin ang blockchain so they chose to adapt after all their effort to stop bitcoin failed.

1. President Xi Jin Ping talks positively about blockchain
2. Talk of their national digital currency
3. Changing stance on crypto mining

It looks like they planned this a long time ago. I'm not sure whether they will legalize bitcoin and other crypto as a payment method though.

We saw the effect (direct/indirect) of the Xi Jin Ping talk about blockchain to the price of bitcoin. It's possible that they could become one of the main drivers for that next big bull run.
