you did not read the review.

you are using the  hdd  cables not the pcie  cables  the review clearly states to use the pcie cables not the hdd/sata/molex garbage.

only use pcie cables on the risers. each card gets a feed from the pcie cable  on the riser. do not deal with the shit cables

Here many miners were stupid to buy "Lepa" (most bought 1000w model) some 40%+ dies in first month, cables and connectors are also garbage

That Lepa PSU are garbage, never should be used for mining!

The LEPA 1600w is a fine PSU, nothing wrong with it. http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story5&reid=283

OP, you simply piulled too much power through that 12v pin. Don't go over ~70w on a molex or sata chain. Any modular PSU will melt a connector if you pull too much power through it.

Seasonic X series, SilverStone (any of their Gold models), EVGA G2 series for me.

Enermax has been iffy on the few I've had, one died outright another is flaky 3'd seems to be very solid (the solid one is one of their Platinum models other two were lower-end).

Corsair varies a LOT, seems to depend on the specific model and who's MAKING that model for them and I gave up trying to keep track on them years ago.

PC Power and Cooling USED to be good when they made their own, but they've gone to junk since OCZ bought them out.

So you are saying that your molex connector got burnt ( or your PCI connector got burnt?)
Can you take a better picture to show what is broken and where is it burnt?

Which motherboard are you using? If it is H81 (as you are having 6 RX480s per mobo so my guess is that it is H81btc pro) then do not power your motherboard through molex power connectors. If you power that molex on motherboard it will burn due to some weird problem.

I use a lot of those boards and there is nothing wrong in powering those with a simple sata connector and PCIe to the USB riser. Make sure that you are using only one sata port per USB riser. DO NOT use sata extender (used to power multiple HDDs) to connect multiple USB risers. If needed use Molex to sata converter but dont put too many connections on one line.

...Waiting for the pictures ...

I use EVGA 550W to power mobo and sub risers (all 6 of them) and
http://www.ebay.com/itm/94-Platinum-1200-Watt-Power-Supply-Kit-for-GPU-Open-Rig-Mining-Ethereum-ZEC-/371643723687 to power all my graphics cards through PCI-express slots.
Its a platinum rated PSU so wastage of electricity is wayy too less.

I recommend EVGA SuprNova (Quality is better for few bucks more), i'm using EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2 Gold with GTX 1060 6GB and RX 470.

Seems Lepa PSU can't handle your rigs, take care you probably can burn videocards too with that PSU, you need to change it.

I'd recommend

Hope it works for you. Greetings.

Hi,
I've been having issues with my 2 rigs (12xRX480, 2x Lepa G1600w)(have driver 16.11.3)
Some of my modular cable from PSU are burning when they are connected to my powered risers (see photo)

This happens to me 3 times and it's always the same connector who burn
Should I use pci to molex converter to power my risers?
Could anyone help me?

Can pay 0.1 zec if anyone give me a great solution

If your PSU on warranty - change it. It looks like it is a problem with the power output on burned connector

Warranty is over.. And it's happened on two different PSU
