K This appears to be a SCAM really. Just edited his post to become an empty post. HashRent.com is your site riiiiight? I don't think it will be "very much trusted" when it launches.

I didn't think this can be considered a scam, we didn't  lose anything.
except maybe a few minutes of our time
"except"? - Time is the most important asset I (we) have. And it's not only about time...
You can add the disappointment of a broken promise without apologies.

Still, I trust/hope he will pay.

trust me, loosing time still doesn't hurt you as much as loosing BTC $ €

Unfortunately, most people dont see it like that lol.

Sucks, scam +1

Hello everybody,

We are looking to start a scrypt cloud mining service and would like some feedback. We are offering .005BTC to the first 10 people to complete the form in the link. The responses must be genuine to receive the bounty. Thanks in advance.

Edited:(idk why the form was locked)

Pasted version of the form:

Description
HashRent.com will be a website where users can purchase contracts to rent equipment for a predetermined timeframe. The computer equipment is purchased, assembled, and maintained by HashRent.com allowing the customers the benefit of receiving the output generated by the equipment without the hassle of maintaining the equipment.

Business Aspect:
Equipment hosted in datacenter in Austin,TX
Management team includes IT security specialist, web developer, and experienced scrypt miner.
5 new 2,500k/h rigs will be added per month

Future Addon Services:
IOS and Android App to monitor your mining
We will also partner with independent miners looking to rent out their hashrate (us acting as the middleman)
Eventually offering managing services for those who want to invest their gains.

Customer Aspect:
Marketing will be done extensively on popular forums, google adwords, facebook, and bing.
Various types of contracts 3 month, 6 month, 9 month, or 12 month with a discount the longer they sign up for
Customers can reinvest earning for a larger hashrate.
Accept payment in bitcoin, bank deposit, or credit/debit card
Customers to be paid out daily (or if reinvesting will gain more hash rate daily)
Customers may choose which scrypt coin they would like to mine from a predetermined list
Customers pay upfront the total cost of the contract
Costs will be competitive with other cloud hosting services
Absolute transparency regarding operations and finances.

3 suggestions for improvement

Any additional comments/suggessions

3 things you liked about the idea :

-Planned to allow mobile monitoring.
-Planned to allow us to rent out hashrate.
If you enable both of them together , I'm pretty sure many many people will join to sell you their hashrate.
I would love to be able to see my hashrate and my miners while away , and sell that time.
-Accepting non-BTC.
This would be good for allowing new users of cryptocurrencies to join

3 suggestions for improvement :
-Don't make it choose a scrypt-coin , but provide workerid , password and other details.
This will be easier to choose an altcoin pool.
-Permanent contracts like Cex.io will be easier to use , especially for re-investment
-Accept LTC too.
Since you already accept altcoins for reinvestment , why not also allow them for purchase ?

Do you think the idea is feasible?
Yes.
I feel that there is not a single fully stable alt-coin mining provider and this can fill that void.
For bitcoin , cex.io is very effective , this has potential to become to go-to website for alt-coin mining , if made well.

Any additional comments/suggessions
You need to get word out about your site if you plan to start one.
You will need advertising campaigns , maybe on other websites or maybe a signature campaign.

Not here for the money but...

Reasons why this won't work:
1. There are plenty of these companies around already
2. Customers pay upfront the total cost of the contract? Since you guys aren't really popular here, people would rather believe this is a scam and believe me there were a lot of scams like this before (not indicating this is a scam)
3.Customers to be paid out daily...attractive but the transaction fees will be humongous.
4. 5 new 2,500k/h rigs will be added per month. Wait what? 2.5 megahashes per hour? Damn that will be slow...If you meant 5 2500MH/s then presuming you didn't start with a good rig in the beginning then it will take you 40 months to actually get customers (difficulty would probably rise as well). But if you meant 5 2500GH/s then the cost will, in fact, be too damn high.

Suggestions:
1. Change payout time to a week or two or maybe monthly.
2. Or, the older the customer is or the more he/she pays the faster they will receive payment( kinda evil if you ask me).

Optional:
1.Start an ad campaign here, buy people's signature spaces for a reasonable price or have a raffle for all of those that's wears your ad. All the major Bitcoin sites are doing this so why not? example : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/primedice-staff-only-earn-bitcoins-simply-by-posting-291387
2. Mini faucet running on the site to attract more people.
3. Obvious or not you should mine some coins for yourself (like when there's no customer?)

I hope this isn't a scam  Undecided
Guys are you serious? He hasn't been online since the morning (about 12 hours) and he might not be here till 7-12 PM as this is the time he made the post in.
Also a scam? People scam for money, advertisement but for opinions on a site that hasn't been launched? Please at least have a little patience for him to come online.
