I'm with the ones who feel the need to implement a function to display balance in satoshis Bitcoins.
I hate mBTC, uBTC, Satoshis, Bits and all other denominations.

I finally tried this the other day.  I think that the animation on the curve is pretty cool.  However, I think the site could definitely use a more prominently displayed link to the explanation of the game.  Also, I still can't seem to get used to that "bits" thing, you should allow users to display the balance in the units they prefer, yes?

I second this. Users should be allowed to display the balance in the units that they prefer. Somehow, i never grasp the "bits" concept and sometimes end up under-betting. Would be great to allow users to use 0.001 BTC. Even the mBTC is fairly confusing to me, and i am sure it would confuse a new user too. Smiley

Well it's easy... they provide a command in the chat screen, where you type for example -->  !convert 1 bit and it would give you the $ value.

So you do not have to do all those external calculations, to get your head around things.  Wink The site is very user friendly.  Grin

Our of interest today, I had a look at our faucet stats. On a typical day, we're giving out about 1000 bits (500 faucet claims) so it has it hasn't been a big burden. However, one thing caught my eye, our most active fauceter:

Here is the list of faucet claim time (and time since last claim):

http://privatepaste.com/6c2fbcdda5

Hard to tell if that's a bot or an insomniac

I would be pretty confident saying it's a human.

He seems to sleep from 18:00 to 23:00 or thereabouts. Assuming your times are UTC, and that he's sleeping 1am to 6am his time, he's 7 hours east of Greenwich, which probably puts him in China or Indonesia.

Does that fit with the IP address?

Pretty sure know who this is. Also Primedice's most active faucet player (Assuming it's the same guy judging on sleeping times etc.). Bloke definitely isn't a bot. Closer to insomniac.

judging from the activity for sure it is GMT+7 which country is likely in southeast Asia, im pretty sure the IP will point it out there, well some people really like to leech in faucet tho

2 base cashout at 10 1.15 on loss

can you validate your claims and point us to some evidence?

if its really good, I would like to try it.

LOL. Honestly I tried many of these strategies and schemes but you either make very little, or you make very little slowly and then eventually you lose everythin.

Its at least fun!

Right, users should be able to use satoshis, at the small end of the stakes as well.  I think that allowing the user to choose BTC, mBTC, uBTC, or Satoshi would be really great.  Oh, I guess to also turn on the "bits" lingo which I think is = uBTC.

From his game history, the autobet worked pretty well for him, but then he abandoned his strategy and lost a big bet hours ago...

weird. is the site offline?
I tried to reload but still says "Connecting to server.."

Sorry about that, we were down for a few minutes while we upgraded to postgres 9.3.5. Everything is fine now. I screwed up the whole maintenance page thing, used some site's example page instead of my customized version =)

Ryan its cool. I can see it now.
