Hey guys,we already talked lot about adding other crypto currencies so it is better to stop discussing more about it because he already said no other crypto currencies for now.If people want to try bustadice just try with bitcoin because the fee with bitcoin is getting too cheaper if someone who don't have no knowledge about exchange and wallet then he may not suitable to gamble any ways. Shocked

Can you add other crypto currencies to play? The fees of bitcoin transaction is too high, it will be a big problem for new users when they want to test your game.
If you really want to test the bustadice website you can just go and test it with the bitcoin itself because the fee is way too cheaper, when I am used to send bitcoins to my bustadice account which is even less than $0.01 only,if you think this fee is too high then you are not supposed to gamble because the chance of losing your money in gambling is more.
But now there is no chance to add any other crypto as per the statement of devans so just do it with bitcoin bro. Smiley
If you send bitcoin from exchange sites, the fees you must pay to test this game is too much when compare it with the small amount you deposit( example, when you make a withdrawal in wex.nz, you must pay 0.001 btc fee ). You must understand that new players maybe are newbies, they dont know much about bitcoin,.they just want to play game l.
You are right many people don't know about the custom fee and the difference between the wallet and exchange. So they are using exchange as their wallet still. And the fee is still high in some exchanges even if the number of unconfirmed transactions are very low.
So it is a good reason to add the other coins to the bustadice so he may take this into consideration.
Hopefully it will happen soon as what sir devans say they are planning to put other currencies in bustadice to have other option of buying bits to your account aside from bitcoin. Because altcoins are cheaper than bitcoin when it comes transaction fees. We will wait for further announcement regarding bustadice and also bustabit as well.

Let us wait for future announcement as well as enchancement if ever, so far the fees of bustadice are now much cheaper compare before so if this will continue I don't think having other currencies will no longer be an issue. For now I just want to enjoy playing with bustadice and bustabit.

Just 3 hours to go, and the bankroll is looking pretty healthy!

So at launch it looks like the max-profit is going to be >21.645 bitcoin ($93k USD at current prices). As far as I can tell, this is the largest max-profit[1] of any bitcoin casino at the moment. Or anyone aware of something bigger? Hopefully the whales take note  Grin

[1] Sites like bustabit have a bigger max profit, but they constrain the max-bet. So I'm looking at it from the perspective someone trying to do something like a 2x bet

As you can see in my casino overview thread, Primedice has a max win of 50 BTC. I couldn't find it on their site, but I've asked around a bit, and it seems that it's 50 BTC. It isn't confirmed by a mod or something, but it looked like everyone agreed on that amount.

Still an impressive result I'd say. I'm looking forward to the launch in a few hours Smiley
Amount of maximum profit might be interesting and quite attractive for gamblers but for me even if bustadice don't offer 50btc worth of maximum profit it doesn't matter because what's important is when I play I get the chance to win and I feel like I have so much luck when playing this game, that's good enough for me to stay in this site.

The issue is that most people have no idea on how to send bitcoins with a custom fee. Most of the wallet default fees are still over 100sats per byte.

And many people actually transfer their bitcoins from exchanges and most exchanges have very high fixed fees ranging from 50000 to 100000 Sats. Hence for small deposits it's not worth it.
People still didn't change their habit even many exchanges had been hacked recently and they have to understand that they need to store their bitcoin in their wallets not in the exchanges if they are really care about their bitcoins.

Eventually perhaps, but I currently don't have any specific plans to accept additional currencies.
do have to think so. because anything that will be done desperately needs a review. although there are many who suggest to open altcoin services for gambling. but maybe you as the owner is worth to consider from all aspects

but still it is great that the gambling site like bustadice will accept different kinds of altcoin because others are prefered to play with alts due to its low fee . I cant see  aspects  that must be consider will be the hindrance  if your site will be the best site ever if you put alts on your site .
He stated that he currently don't have that idea to introduce any other currencies except bitcoin but in future it may be introduced, for as now enjoy playing bustadice with bitcoins and it is a good opportunity for us to topup our bustadice accounts with bitcoin since the price is getting cheaper.
But hopefully mate that will happen maybe they introduce another crypto-currencies someday but as of now let's wait for another improvement in bustadice that maybe sir devans will announcement it here. For sure it takes a long time of process in maintenance for accepting other new coin or altcoins for the top up of your bustadice account. Being of high fees in bitcoin transactions, some gamblers did not invest on gambler site.
we all expect this to happen sooner or later. I'm sure with the ever increasing user in the weekly. alternative altcoin would be helpful for guess who has a small fee to gamble. and only this is still in the discourse. I hope this is immediately done for our comfort together Cheesy

I feel pity for the people who uses exchange as their wallets. Roll Eyes
Still many people don't have enough knowledge about crypto currency that's why they are keep saying my bitcoin is hacked. We need to use wallet (which provides private key) to store our bitcoins.
But even in the coinbase the fee is much less now it is about 0.0004BTC at now,But I don't know how much fee on other exchanges.

It's worth noting that bustadice/bustabit is already fully segwit compatible (although uses p2sh wrapping for compatibility) and has what is without a doubt the most advanced deposit/withdrawal system in bitcoin fullstop, and is able to pass that cost-savings is passed directly to users. Right now you can do a queued withdrawal for 1.7 bits (~0.016 USD) or an instant withdrawal for (~0.083 USD). And those fees aren't subsidized, that's actually at-cost thanks to a crazy amount of optimizations  Grin
I noticed that sir that having a lower fees in withdrawal your bits to bitcoin in bustadice, last month i withdraw my balance in bits from bustadice and it cost 416 bits and now i'm happy to know that only 1.7 bits to withdraw. I don't have bench32 address or segwit address i only used legacy address in withdrawal my balance and it's okay for to wait 4-8 hours, but if necessary to used that newly addresses need well i used it too. Its really having a cost-saving to the users like me who have account in bustadice and enjoying played with it.
Congrats both the bustadice/bustabit for the great site i have ever encountered.

I think in the near future bustadice will adopt these feature since fees are getting higher and gamblers complain much about this. It is just that at this point in time some important issues must be settled first before looking into other matters, but we will go through this.

The issue is just that there is currently no bech32 address support, but the trivial way to do it (which might take an hour of coding) can potentially come at a bit of a privacy hit to the hot wallet, so it's worth waiting and doing it properly (i.e. making sure the site can both send to and receive from bech32 addresses, and occasionally use them for change).

Sending to native segwit addresses (i.e. a bech32 address) is pretty easy, but what a site like bustadice probably really wants to is (occasionally) also use bech32 change addresses in order to make it difficult to ever reliably tell what is change and what is the "destination". If you can prevent the identification (and creation) of change enough, you can pretty much break tracking services that primarily rely on wallet clustering to work.

Definitely a cool feature to add though

I agree with what you are saying but i don't think it's for privacy reasons.

I think it's for efficiency reasons. Basically they want the source to be fully segwit and both the destination and destination change ( or segwit hot wallet) all are fully segwit.

This way it would save max space.

But as per the statement of devans he is holding of the bech32 address for the privacy issues. But I am not an expert in these kind of discussion so I don't know what will be the privacy concern if we implement the bech32 address.

As it been mentioned, the transaction using bech32 address is easy to identify, but using repeatedly changing address will be a cool feature to help to maintain privacy,  it will be great if bustadice can add the feature, most gambler now is complaining about the fee, and in the future it's best to used segwit address for transaction because its saving cost, by using segwit address
we are helping bitcoin

Assuming you are serious and not just signature campaign post farming, the current suggested fee for a bitcoin transaction is 1 sat/byte, which is extremely cheap. For a regular SegWit transaction with 1 input and 2 outputs, you'd be paying just under 2 cents for your transaction.
