Well.. this is pretty useless ... I mined a bunch of BUTK to a 32 bit windows QT wallet ... it's safe right ... then downloaded the app to import the wallet ... it won't import ... then I see there is no more 32 bit windows wallet ... so it cannot update ... no network ... so contact the person managing it all ... yes we have a new app wallet ... and it won't inport the qt version ... so contact again... yes we have a new app wallet again next week ... that one actually imported ... and totally refuses to send any coin anywhere .... error ... can't send ... so WTF ! . I then make a new wallet in the app and mine a few coin to it ...  can't send that either to exchange ... so I then try all versions of the app wallet ... hd, legacy and so on ... none of them will send coin. And in trade ... of the entire TWO exchanges ... bitsails is really useless ... it only trades for btc ... and a sell order at market price .00000001... about two months later still has not sold anything ... put 500 coin in to truy the idea ... guess what .. the exchange fee cost to put it back in wallet is 500 coin ... might as well just give them free coins right ? Exbitron does trade ... but any mining to exchange wallet is at your own risk ... not responsible if[they make a change and you lose coin ... and go figure ... the price was rising ... but I cannot move the coin from wallet to go sell it ... now it's dropping ... and in mining ... used to be about 5000 coin a day ... now it's 2000 a week ... so scrap it ... go mine and deal in some other coin that actually does trade good and has a wallet that does work ... the guy running it all replied a couple times ... now he doe not bother ... so go figure ... maybe he ought to get busy and fix is stuff so it works if he wants people to use, mine or deal in his coin ... there's only several thousand other coins all near the same to choose from ... if he wants people to use his coin then his stuff has to work ... and also be able to move from a wallet and also trade good ... but it doesn't ... can't move it from wallet and only one exchange even works and no reply from the person running it all ... except for try a new version .. it will be ready in a week ... well there is no 32 bit windows wallet ... any 64 bit linux wallet refuses to open ... bad archive ... the app wallet don't work either ... and no version of it ... hd or legacy works at all .... of the six options listed ... none will send coin anywhere ... what good is that ? It's not !

And what really pisses a person off is this .. got coin stuck in a wallet that won't move to sell as the price falls to sell it ... the app is junk ... if it ever works at all... it never has in any version ...transactions are weeks behind updated ... and really the coin is not worth a lot to start with and now got harder to mine also ... at the end of the day ... the developer no longer replies ... so why even bother ... go use some other coin where everything just does work ... dump this one ... even the block explorer is junk ... when if ever does it ever work ... and unlike other coins ... you can't even use it to send coin ... even if it ever does work ... and as well ... half the links on bitcoin talk don't een work .... one pool of all does actually work now ... the rest don't ... either gone or coin does not exist ... of the markets ... only two and only one actually does work for trade ... 'the goochie who is running the show ought to get his act together if he ever hopes to make this work ... so far none of it works very good at all if any of it ever does work.... all you can do with this coin is mine direct to exbitron wallet and go sell it ...

What is really frustrating ... you contact the guy running it all .. he says going to fix and look into it ... and then nothing, weeks later nothing ... ... email again ... no reply ... go figure ...! ! ! That says it all don't it ? All I want to be able to do is take the coins mined into the QT wallet and be able to send them to the exchange ... or import that wallet into the app and then send them and so far nothing works and the person running can't seem to tell  me how or even reply lately ... on any other wallet I put in send address ... and it just sends ... this thing .. error ... error ... error ... so buyer beware if you are thinking to mine some or do much with it ... and if you do mine ... send direct to exbitron exchange wallet ... so far it seems to be the only thing working that does work to sell or trade this coin. The only thing it actually ever does sell good or trade in is USDT ... all other trade options I found just a waste of time ... no one buys it or trades it ... only USDT does for some reason.

So if anyone is thinking of doing much with this ... it mines on Suprnova pool ... use the gr ghostrider algo .... the lyra is slower than sin ... and mine direct into an exbitron wallet and then sell it for usdt ... install hive os to usb and use the cpuminer opt rplant version ... but set up for suprnova pool with exbitron wallet... about 3 to 500 coin a day on any old desktop ... near two cents worth or so maybe ... or less... but the system works for mining and selling it ... just not very fast... run the computer on solar 24/7 and then it's free money ...

yes seems, their scrypt algo is not working properly.

Wallet not sync...

You can mine through the wallet. Select the algo (YesPoWer is preferred).

With a coin that had a rather decent price being all the way down <1 Sato, why bother?

It is not coming back.

Was mining BUTK on rplant - they dropped that coin now, tried other alternate pools - somedon't even work, one is written in chinese even.
Suprnova pool did work, and so far - coin sent but no coin received in wallet, listed block explorers also do not seem to work at all.
Only exchange that works is Exbitron trading for USDT.
Bitsails has a price of near nothing and only trades for BTC - never fills orders at all.
High withdrawal fees also on both.
Earlier was wallet app problem - refusing to update the amounts even in watch mode.
Dev says it's updated download latest version - already had the latest version.
Is BUTK even worth mining then ?

This project has no negative feedback but it is not gaining attention from the community. The site is very simple and not the usual site of a blockchain project, the people behind it don't put their resources to hire a web developer. But anyway, it is up to you if you will mine this coin or not. Also, the exchange- exbitron.com, I only encounter this exchange here. So if you are a trader, just do your own due diligence if you will trade on this exchange.

Hi,

Is there any reason why my wallet is not able to connect to a node? I downloaded the current version.

I tried to add some nodes on the console via "addnode XXX add" but did'nt solved the problem. I checked FW, no problems there.

What is curios: The nodes I added via the console will not be displayed on the tab. If I try to add them a 2nd time I got an error that
the noded had already been added.

And if i close the wallet app and reopen the added nodes are gone.

Any Ideas?

I haven't seen any extensively negative comments, so that's a good sign.



I have been watching the effort rate for this project for the past few days:

Yespower and Ghostrider are doing well, and rewarding  blocks as per miningpoolstats, on par with the ASIC algos.
Scrypt and SHA256d are also seeing good efforts. Small farms targeting pools on SHA256d can be seen spiking difficulties. Most of the unknown blocks are Scrypt mined.
I haven't been watching lyra2.

Block rewards are at 3750but .
