What do you all think about Butterfly Labs hosted mining? This happens on their server - is this a good investment?

BFL is a scam, if u want to loose money, go with them

they're not a scam per se, they do eventually deliver, although several months later than they promise.

Well I exchanged two orders from BFL into Hosted mining 167GH of it. Then the BTC was a mere $200...lol now $800...It seemed like an ok idea then as the 37GH that I would have got would soon be obsolete. I think it is possible to make money now if they deliver in Jan or Feb...but they haven't got a good track record on keeping delivery dates. The Monarch should however be easier to produce...No case no PSU etc. So I'm hoping it will be the first time they get their act together. I still trust the company and they do seem to be serious. I now mine with CEX at around $65/gh! But at least there you can sell it at anytime. The idea is very good as I mine Peercoin with my rig and Bitcoin on CEX....This link is a referral link to their website.   Click here to see for yourself! I currently have 2.55gh and climbing as I auto reinvest my BTC earnings. It is an alternative to waiting and waiting.

I just have a strong feeling they will be hashing with the hardware and only turning over it's power to the leasers when their money makes more than the hashing power is worth. just my 2 cents as they've shown they like to do 'burn in testing' for quite an extensive time.

Why would you even consider it? You pay up front, with no guarantee when it will actually start hashing. It's a big waste of your money!

Never on time, but the kit is ok.

Might be better off considering CEX.
