so now that its sold what does team calculator think for our buyer to roi on 29btc? Id also like to thank the dz team for making this group buy work out so good. I didn't expect to get the extra hash rate that you guys threw in and appreciate that you went beyond what you really had to do.

if I am that buyer and I got 17  s-1 miners for 29.4 btc  .  I am selling 7 on ebay for 2k -2.5k a piece

or maybe I dress it up  and make one of these to sell

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-ASIC-Antminer-Bitmain-S1-Dual-Bitcoin-Miner-400Gh-OCed-and-IN-HAND-/121267019340?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c3c13de4c

I think if you mine 17 ant miners at 3.4 gh starting today they may not ever earn 30 btc but of they do earn the 30 btc back it would be at the 100-120 day point in time.   all depends on how much diff jumps

The Email I got suggested that it was also possible to PM thomas_s and provide sufficient evidence of ownership that didn't include a "signed" message. Isn't that correct? Have you had a chance to look at your PM's yet?

they switched from blackarrow to antminers with out a vote  they can do what ever they want. including pay us for this gear. or go poof.

 our votes have no meaning.

They look impressive tho right?

That freakin water pipe by the gorilla rack would have me a little uneasy. If you did not recognize it, that's your hosting facility.

The latest update for those not checking the voting thread:

"R9-12 is sold, it will continue hashing until Monday, on which all units will begin to come offline, we will await BTCGuild to not owe us any funds and request a manual payout of both BTC / NMC, the NMC will be converted to BTC and sent to the BTC payout address and will be sent in the payout to occur later that day.

[...] we will be changing this slightly as the purchaser would like them all immediately and has said he would simply take over the BTCGuild account we use and change the wallet address to limit the change of worker info, in light of this BTCGuild pays out for 10 shifts he will be paying an additional 0.4 BTC to cover this.

Because of this we can do the payout tonight.

You can expect the payout within a few hours after everything is moved."

It is 8 pm central time.  198 shares say yes.  So  3 more shares in the next  4 hours and the sale gets done.

I've made a new topic just to keep everything fully public, seems the signature thing was messed up a bit. I'll be moving posts here for sales to the new thread only vote once.

I think I did it properly - I signed it with Bitcoin-QT! That's my 5 for a yes vote.

We have until tomorrow morning to decide weather or not to take this, but if we do I have already been given the BTC for them, so after the decision is made the BTC can be paid out immediately (assuming I notify thomas, muahaha).

Also, the offer was upped to 29BTC, but that is the clients final offer.

 our votes have no meaning.

this payoff is bigger 28 coins then all the coins paid for the current rounds hashing.

I doubt they wan to pay this off.     it just gets worse.

The switch to antminers was a very good decision at least for R9-12 share holders, if not the boards that were in R9-12 have only gotten up to around 1-2th/s and that doesn't include downtime of them for being repaired.

However the power usage of ants is higher than the bitfury boards and requires more PSU's

The vote is public and responses are shared, the reason for sending a signed transaction is so anyone can check the legitimacy of the vote unfortunately not many have actually followed the directions to sign a message or at least to prove ownership publicly.

As for the vote it seems the only way to do it is in this thread my current count is a little over 100 votes to sell based on posts that were made.

I got my 15 day payment.

how are we on the sale and the .07 btc a share?

It seems a decent amount of people want to sell, based on the public vote that was done before the official one (as more votes were cast there) ~100

As for the google doc vote, only  a handfull of share actually signed the message so there is no proof that the others besides me and the 40 shares that belong to Ridicuss want to sell.

After the Chinese new year the offer prices will start to drop by a decent amount.

that's right blame us for not  signing correctly.

meanwhile I signed it 4 different ways yes.

you have a 90% plus yes vote.  you should just sell the gear.  btw the way the change in gear from black arrow to s-1 miners was not approved you just did it.  show me a clear vote on that switch.
