If you really want a wife, save your 2.5BTC and get a real one the traditional way. Go out and meet people, create relationships and friendships. You may eventually end up with a wife. Then I can tell you right now - the 'free' one will cost you MORE than that 2.5BTC in the long run haha.

I think this is somewhat real, even if OP posted this as a joke. There are people in the developing countries that would sell girls that want to marry a foreigner and leave their home country. These girls do this willingly, because they have a notion that if they marry a foreigner it would solve all their financial problems.

I laugh at this, this is obvious a scam or at least I hope so , I don’t want to think of the possibility that the website actually is going to fulfill its promise since that means those poor women are treated as things to sell and that is not right, so while both options are bad I hope it is a scam.

It would be best to have a mutual agreement but the problem is those who were sold won't have a say on this. They might be kidnapped/abducted from rural areas, dressed and now being sold or auctioned in that site. I just watched from a documentary film that slavery is not totally gone. Some part of my country are still in it, selling young people as slaves after they were tricked or abducted.
