No one surely knows what will happen after this one, but I sure wont gamble it in anyway by selling. The worst that will happen is that the value will drop but I am not loosing since it will definitely climb right back up. It is worth taking that decision than selling.

Only when you see the altcoins which their prices is not changing with Bitcoin, believe it or not there are actually some cryptocurrencies completely

Independent from Bitcoin, they have their own markets and they're major. I have no idea how much China will earn on Bitcoin and altcoins as well

By banning ICOs and exchanges, people are still buying Bitcoin because of the plans of a company, they said they'll fork another chain but that's not

True, Bitcoin cash is up because the miners are supporting it. it's not possible to know if we can take advantage of rapid fluctuations, there is a

Software I heard that will automate every arbitrage trade on all exchanges, if they manage to use it then say goodbye to any profit.

now , while bitcoin is not yet decided where to go, not the best time for altcoins. Ideally, life begins altcoins when bitcoin is trending sideways. The exception for those altcoins that are in correlation to the cue ball, e.g. dash. I've noticed lately as soon as bitcoin goes down , dash goes up

I was unaware of the hardfork as well. I guess it depends on whether you're a short-term or long-term trader. It will rise in the long run so may as well hodl, but if you're looking for quick gains then selling before the fork might be wise.

Looking for some opinions of people who have been around the block.

How will the hard fork affect the price of Bitcoin and alts?

And would you rather buy now or wait until November? Or perhaps simply DCA?

Really, will there be hardfork in November?
I've heard about the existence of hardfork in november, but what I hear is just a kind of maintenance, not a block break as it was in early August, but I do not know whether it's true or not

i prefer to wait it because like a hardfork before the price of bitcoin and alt goes down together
and after the blockchain stable, the price goes up together too

I hope it stays stable, so whenever we transactions remain profitable

I do hope that Bitcoin price will fall prior to the November hard fork so that we can get our foot through the door and buy at low prices. I think that a lot of people will spread FUD to make the coin drop, knowing that they have a good shot at making a lot of profit. But if there is no hard fork, will BTC still increase?

With hard fork or no hard fork Bitcoin will continue dominating the entire crypto space. Price inevitably will go up for sure no matter what. Come November Bitcoin will hit a new all time high.

I am expecting there will be a dip before the hard fork. So keep money safe and wait for price to go down before the hard fork.

We don't know if the hard fork will go ahead. See this tweet for example:

https://twitter.com/slushcz/status/906887516892094467

It looks like Slush Pool is trying to back out of segwit2x. It really depends on whether the miners can find some consensus or not.

How will the hard fork affect the price of Bitcoin and alts?

we may not be able to speculate whether price of bitcoin will go up or go down because of all the drama that will come by the end of this year but we can say one thing for sure:
when bitcoin price falls, altcoins follow its trend downwards.

so far the only exception has been altcoins are are in their start of pump. for example if they are pumping an altcoin and it is a couple of hours into the pump when bitcoin starts going down, that particular altcoin won't be affected but the rest will fall too.

If hardfork happen then the price will fall down and alt coin price will also fall down, you can see the similarity that happened in this August,so waiting after the November to buy alt coin or bitcoin is a better option

Since today, the rate of almost all crypto-currencies began to rise gradually. So, the bitcoin rate is now $ 4,251, although it did not exceed 4,000 before. The crypto currency market departs from the negative and fictitious information that came from China. Therefore, now is the time to acquire a crypto currency. And almost all the promising coins, because they are now at the bottom after the fall. I think that we should not expect November. Still it is not known that November will bring for кpиптoвaлют.

It depends on the criptomoeda, if you have a dollar quote, it might be better than the bitcoin, but I can not say.

it better to have a plan A and B mate, this coming fork will be another deciding moment whether  it will fly up or it will be a complete downfall for his
value. so better to split your money buy little by little until the time comes and who knows it will be another double for us like what previously happen
when hard fork was done.

I think that you can not wait with the purchase of crypto currency. Now is the time to buy it. After the recent general fall of bitcoin and almost all altcoins began to grow in value. I think that their recovery begins in the previous course and further growth after negative information from China. Therefore, if anyone wants to acquire a crypto currency, it is better to buy it now, otherwise there is a general tendency to increase the rate and it is possible not to have time to do it.

Buy now, it comes cheap. Sell before the dip when we will be approaching November. By November, buy again, provided the fork will indeed happen. Well, even if it will not happen, the FUDs will still effectively bring the price down, so you can still buy at a highly discounted price.

If I am inclined to be able to buy right now because to anticipate the sudden rise of coin prices then we can make use of in order to get a commensurate outcome of the initial process and even increase revenue. than buying coins in November is too long.

@HODL It. The best trading advice would be to have more fiat ready in case the price goes down on November. Why would you buy altcoins if it is also dumped if bitcoin is dumped?

It actually depends, probably if bitcoins falls after hardfork on November alts such as Ethereum wont fall. Anyway as you said prepare the fiat to buy when the price goes down is it a good idea to buy now market rate fluct between 4k and 4.5k and is a good way to profit til November arrives.
