High stakes, high rewards. Investing in a solid project like ethereum really put you on a safer side compared to other altcoins given that it has a solid community, established product and in a good track. If you want a your investment to multiply like crazy, investing on new projects that have a lot of uncertainty is the way. New projects has a lot of space to multiply their price if they become successful but the risk beside it, knowing that you invest on a new project that has no proven tracks is just so risky.

You're probably looking at it more personally, it's fair to say that all investments are geared towards profit, and research has a specific goal to it. You understand the problem like $100 is a small number for many people, but it is also a very large number for many people, if it only needs to bring double profits, it will be successful for them. I don't look at finding x10 x100 x1000 opportunities from low stakes like gambling, or memes, so with low-risk and profitable things, little or a lot is fine investment exposure.

ETH is also one of my favorite Altcoins and still holds it today. The price of ETH still seems good enough to buy at the moment and hold for the long term. When Bitcoin reaches ATH then ETH will also follow suit. The top altcoins that must be purchased at this time and can certainly generate a lot of profit if they are able to survive for the long term.

It went to $1,900 just now because the market seems to be on the sort of mini bull run in the last 2 days or so. So yeah, Ethereum is a good investment for long term. I remember when it upgraded to PoS and we say that it will go to $2k.
So now is the chance to see that price again if this bull run will continue. But the real bull run will occur next year so it's better to continue to accumulate and stack Ethereum while we are still in this price as it might go to 10x, in my opinion.

Bitcoins were way more valuable than what it is currently priced at. I am talking about the time when Bitcoins were at 69k usd. At that time, we also witnessed ATH price for ETH. Yes buying ETH and Bitcoins will be beneficial, as these are the oldest coins available in the market. These coins’s marketcap is also high and big, hence more chances are there that people will demand more to acquire the coins. So yes buy these coins in this bear market price and hold it. When bull market comes, sell it in 3x prices.

You have some kind of calculation problem. ETH cannot fall in price by 500%, it has fallen in price by 65%. Don't mix percentages and multiples. An asset can't go down in price by 500%. If we're talking about investing in ETH, you shouldn't expect any super return from this coin. The project can bring a few x's, but don't count on more. 
Most reliable cryptocurrencies are BTC and ETH. Among all the disponible alternatives it's usually said you can accumulate them without worries thinking on long term results. ETH is a strong altcoin, due to its popular blockchain, which is used by many developers to create their own projects and launch new tokens. Moreover, ETH's creator, Vitalik Buterin, is a reputable and respected developer inside crypto industry, who has already donated to several causes and seems to be focused and loyal to his work. The only thing that you should out more in consideration at this moment is the fact that we are still in the dip, so buying and holding any cryptocurrency at this moment will eventually lands a great profitability in the future because we are getting close to the halving which will leads to the bullrun, we may expects more bear but to experience bull and since the market is unpredictable, we encourage using this as present dip to acquire more and hodl.
