1. you bought a shitcoin, it has nearly reached the bottom, if the coin is now already forgotten, why not sell before it fully dies?
How many of all these currencies will die... nearly ALL OF THEM, no?

2. sell low before a predicted fall, buy back lower. Like, right now. Alts rised, we all know they will go down again after thefork dump. Doesn't matter if you bought them higher than they now are, sell & buy back in a week.

Composure and patience would play an important role especially if you're a newbie. Though of course you're not going to master that immediately. Take time and make sure to learn from whatever mistake that will come your way
