Do you really think that the price will not fall?
It will but not for long. If you want to short, you're welcome to try. If you're in for a long, it doesn't matter when you buys. The price will double after Segwit activation. We'll probably have over 3k in the next 12 months and over 5k in 2 years. Whether you buy in a dip or not is irrelevant.
There is no assurance in Segwit acrivation as everything is just a plan. However, I would like to agree that it's better to buy now before segwit as there is still a chance for segwit activation which would boost the market dramatically.

I think we will see another wave of correction, price may touch $2000 on second round and quickly recover to over $2500 before another bull run. I have placed few of my buy orders at around $2000.

A friendly reminder to you all to buy in the dips.

I agree. For those who are waiting for the price to dip so that they can buy again, now is the perfect time. I always saw members here complaining about the price is too high to buy and will wait for a dip. So here it is, what are you waiting for?

The dip was very great that we cannot consider it as a dip but a drown. The price drop was great and in our local exchange the price of btc went up as high as 3600 $ last night only to fall down to 2200 $ this morning. A big drop could not be considered a dip but already a splash or a drown, but anyway it is the best time to buy more bitcoins since we can expect that bitcoin will fly again.

Agreed this is a once in a lifetime chance to buy lots of it while still low people complaining that it's to high now would be the right time
If you didn't or dont want to buy it there it's your choice but dont blame others if it reaches $500000 in the next few couple of years then you'll say to yourself, i should have bought bitcoin when still have a chance.

I agree, but the hard part is knowing when in the dip to buy. You want to maximize the amount you buy so making a purchase as low as possible is the best. You don't want to buy too high.

Difficult part will be to figure out how low the dips can go. So far if the fallout hasn't happened yet then it doesn't resemble any past trends w/regards to length of time in between swings. Will be an interesting ride forward.

Tips like these are the ones I admire. Trying to help the common people with just this, you heard the man. You need to buy at least an amount of bitcoin. Investing in Bitcoin at this time would be ideal.

I'd be tempted to buy into BTC if I wasn't knee-deep in alts. Think that I'm too far gone to risk switching now.

A friendly reminder to you all to buy in the dips.

Thank you for the advice and please don't forget that by the time all of us should buy into the dip as you suggested, then the price will be forced back up that might even be higher than the initial position we were earlier having in mind the forces of demand and supply which what I believe bitcoin relies upon.

You know it's a common thing to do to buy at dips especially if we are seeing that bitcoin price is expected to make another more price increase up to the point that we didn't imagined that is reachable based on the majority of speculations. The $1,000 weeks ago is a high price for us but now it's totally a cheap price and it will be the same with $2,000 and so on.

I don't easily believe in speculations but this kind of speculation of price increase have reasons to believe.

I agree. The price increase of Bitcoin has reasons backing it up. Good news which foster a global acceptance with one country after another that results to the increase in demand as well as the users and the price. The dips happening now would be big enough for people to buy what they can and be ready for the next pump which is much higher than it was and many can join in now because many of them missed out and sell right away not expecting that the prediction of $2000 would greatly exceed from it.

It is a dip alright from a sudden increase today to 2750$ it got down quickly as far as 2350$ which is a 400$ difference. But the question is if it is the lowest part of the dip?  Because as of right now Bitcoin is approaching 2500$ in which it is priced at 2485$ to be exact. Well basing it on experience price action this quickly often has several days of correction before it gets normal again.

Why wait for the lowest part of the dip? There is no way we can tell when will be the lowest dipping point that will happened. If by any certain chances that you think that the dip is a good time to buy coins based on your analysis then just do the buying and wait for what will happened.

Waiting too much for a target sometimes is not the always thing to happened. Face the risk as it was worth to gamble to buy with any price if we really think that bitcoin will give us more spectacular show of price increase in the future.
Honestly I am skeptical about this and others also that's why I suggest to do both. I sell half if I'm kind of optimistic about the price together with others in the community and buy half when I'm not sure if the price would rise or dip. As for me, I really am waiting for the price would undergo correction as they say and spend my fiats I have to buy Bitcoin because I am sure that it would rise again and surely it is much higher than it was today so you can say that in this instance I will buy Bitcoin not in half anymore.

No buying for this period. Bitcoin will drop 1 more time in this month and that time will be suitable for us to collect as many bitcoin as we can. And then, bitcoin will return to its path and go up to the moon

I'm still kicking myself for selling 0.5 at $2309... AUD. I've never made a huge mistake. I've pretty much lost nearly $400. The money is now sitting in my bank account, and all the rate on local Bitcoins are sky high.

Yes it is a friendly reminder for not-so-new bitcoin user and a helpful guide for beginners.

For the sake of the beginners or newbie in the world of bitcoin, dip is a term that is used when the price of bitcoin drops with a high difference maybe more that 200 USD. And for those who cannot afford to buy bitcoin with fiat and have some btc in possession, sell your btc at a high price and when it dips, buy them again  Wink

Hello everyone!

Looks like there's a new resistance point at 2350-2400 , so anything close to this price is just the best to buy.

Remember , this is just another little correction in the long term , because the aim remains the same !

Weak hands are just leaving , but the real traders are just incoming !
