As we noticed the price volatility of Bitcoin when it reached ($13k, the highest price for this year at the moment) and then suddenly the price drops at $9k.

And today bitcoin price is about $9,900. So I'm just wondering 🤔 is it now the great time to buy bitcoin or should I sell? Can you give me some of your opinions? Thanks in advance. 😁

First things first: take everything said here with a grain of salt. No one knows with a high degree of confidence what will happen.

I think price action is likely to play out similarly to one of these projections. For xxxx123abcxxxx, I'm referring to "Bull Scenario (Preferred)."

Bigger picture, my opinion is there could be more downside in the mid term, possibly down to the $8,000s. However, there is no guarantee of that, and in the scheme of this correction's trading range, selling below $10K = selling pretty low. Better to buy in the $8K-$10K range and sell above it.

I think the best bit of advice to people thinking about selling is to sell a portion right now. The reality is that the temptation to sell will no longer be a temptation but reality the moment the price takes another dump.

Lowering your exposure to Bitcoin or any other crypto when you are in doubt will help you to avoid stressing out too much, especially when you are here just for the profits and don't really care much about the fundamentals.

I remember last year how people almost laughed at panic sellers for selling around $10k while most emotionally attached hodlers kept hodling. It's clear who had the last laugh when we dumped to $3000.

it wasn't a sudden drop to $10k and below it took a lot of time and a lot of dumping to get there.
as for buying it will come down to your strategy with bitcoin. if you plan on day trading then with a higher risk right now anything below $10k and closer to $9k is a good place to place buy orders and anything above $10k is a good place to sell since for the time being we are only seeing sideways action. you also have to accept the risks that come with this strategy.
if you are an investor (longer term) then anything around $10k with + or - $1000 is a good entry point since we are in an accumulation phase.

today's price was $1050 ish by the way.

In my opinion, Bitcoin's price will rise. So, for now - I've decided to keep my coins. To be honest, I even bought a few coins on the net, because I found a website with quite attractive fees. But, this is not good time to sell - that's for sure Smiley Be patient

Are you joking or just promoting that site? How fees on that site can be attractive when you need to pay $10700 for one Bitcoin? Maybe you should check some other crypto exchanges and save a lot when buying Bitcoin -- > https://www.cryptofeesaver.com/exchanges/fees/coins/bitcoin

That will depend on yourself. But for me, this time we still have a good time to buy more bitcoin but don't buy in a large amount if you are not sure with the price later. You can make an order buy and split it into 3 orders price to buy bitcoin, and you can also place an order sell at any higher price so you can have an order buy and sell bitcoin at the same time. You can see what will happen later by doing that and if the price later is down, then your order buy will be filled. That will happen too if the price increase later, your order sell will be filled too.

It's pretty obvious that the price can still go up in the next couple of days. So the best advise that we can give to you is not to sell at this point. Although as you have mentioned the price suddenly went down after reaching as high as $13k. But that is the nature of bitcoin, it's very volatile and unpredictable. So If I'm in your shoes, I would rather hold for the long haul so that you can maximize your profits.

furenaire123, Bitcoin is after long crypto winter started showing signs of recovery just some 4 months ago, and my opinion is that this is not good time for selling if you are interested for long-term holding. Short-term price can go down and up, but in next 1-3 years from now we should see new big bull run which can push price above last ATH.

There is just a big selling pressure when price was close to $14 000, and it is normal thing considering that most people take profits if they have the opportunity to do that. Now is not bad time for buying, but you can risk and wait lower price - but Bitcoin is mostly show best results in terms of price in the last quarter.

How long do you plan to stay on this market? if you are good for long term it's a good call to start buying now and set your price until you sell. Usually investors are buying at the bottom and if this would be the last chance to see 4 digits then buy.

But if you think that bitcoin has been inconsistent and you think that it won't go up again soon, you better observe first before buying. This is my opinion but it's not an advice for you to buy, you should still stand on your own decision not with others.
