It started off fine...
This is how every scam is starting, it looks nice and shiny from outside, but everything is rotten from the inside.
One more red flag is that their account in forum was not online for days, so there is a big chance they won't come back ever again.
Their twitter account is inactive, and I expect to see their website will shut down in near future.

just pisses me off how hard it seems to be to get a VCC nowadays without whoring out your identity info.
I called it more than a month ago:

I find it hard to believe banks do business with anonymous entities.
That goes for both the website as well as the card buyers. Banks get into trouble if they issue cards without knowing who uses them.

For me it has been 1 week since my deposit. Haven't been able to get any answers via their ticket system or live chat. 2 or 3 days ago I sent a PM here too but no answer to that either. I'll post an update here if they fix it, which is starting to seem unlikely.

It started off fine, had no problem paying for 2 cards around the time when the first thread was created here. Their site seemed to function well enough and even the live chat answered in less than a minute when I had an issue with a deposit (which was actually on the payment providers end). Oh well, I knew the risks, not really upset about the money either, just pisses me off how hard it seems to be to get a VCC nowadays without whoring out your identity info.

I've added negative feedback to @CriptoDebit.com
I'll keep an eye in here and if he fixes the problems in a reasonable time, I'll remove it. But for now the things don't look pretty...

I can't even load a card. I paid through coingate 5 days ago and account funding has been 'pending' ever since. Ignored support tickets, emails and DMs here. The scam is getting ridiculous. He's now 'Cryptocard20.com' (a non-existent domain) on Trustpilot to try and avoid the blowback, and it still links to the current site. Nobody should be sending any more funds to this clown. It started off legit but crackerjack, and now it's failed and is strictly a scam hoping to keep money coming in from the gullible.

he has now credited the money. However, the payments that could not be paid because there was no credit on the card were now deducted from the credit including the fees! Now the credit card is empty again!

That's cute. You haven't answered all my questions, and you're the one who keeps opening new topics when you don't like the direction the conversation takes. I've seen this many times before.
They obviously like to play this stupid games with opening duplicate topics and pretending they don't know what they are doing.
Seems like ''network issues'' (whatever that means) are getting bigger all the time...

And I am curious also to see whether this business just had a glitch or it's scamming.
It's not a glitch Cheesy they are probably manually entering numbers on screen and doing this in some old garage.
Remember that I was the first one to warn this amateurs are probably scammers, and we are now seeing other members reporting many issues with them.
Can someone predict how long until their website is finally shut down?

Can anybody give an update on the situation? Was it cleared up? Are the balances OK now on those cards?
I am curious because one of the newbies PMed me in the week-end and I was the one redirecting him here.

All network issues should be fixed and no delays anymore in automatic card issuing and card funding.

Balances on cards I've already bought just updated after not updating for many days. The problem of my deposit stuck in 'pending' for 4 days still exists. I've DM'd you all the information you need to manually fix this.

No, you're stalling. None of us in this thread can send you a DM because of your settings and you know that. You know exactly what the issue with everybody is. Fix it, and stop accepting new deposits until you do.

Hi, that was because of BitcoinTalk default settings. Not settings they we changed. I enabled messenger from newbies. Please shoot me a dm with your issue and username, I will personally fix your issue.

All network issues should be fixed and no delays anymore in automatic card issuing and card funding.

Best,

Hi guys, we are extremely sorry for the bad service you experienced. We have a high backlog of support tickets, I know that'snot a good reason. You expect A+ customer service.

Please hoot me a DM with your username + issue you have, I will resolve your tickets personally. If you already have a ticket number, please add that too.

P.s. When any coin drops, our business model doesn't suffer, in the backend we never handle any crypto. We always convert deposited crypto automatically to fiat to ensure that we always have the right conversion price and no risk.

Hope for your understanding.

Best Lotus,

There was briefly a notice on the site saying there were delays loading cards due to an overwhelming number of card requests, telling people to open support tickets to get their funds loaded within a few hours. Support tickets have since been ignored, and the notice removed to make it look as though everything was operating normally. At the point he took the notice down he became a bad actor by blatantly stealing user funds. I've advised kycnot.me and hopefully he's delisted.

Yeah, same thing here. Got 2 working cards previously (just tested one that had leftover balance and it still works), but a deposit I made 2 days ago isn't appearing to account balance and the support is not answering

Started off legit and I got a couple of working cards, but the business model was just bad. Due to the large drop in Bitcoin price he probably can't make good on the card loads.

Hello
I bought a credit card. Paying the first time went great. Now I have charged them again.
No matter where I want to pay, the same error comes! "There would be no credit on the card!"
Support not responding. scam??
Truspilot says a user "scam" but Truspilot is a scam as well xD

We have answered all your questions in all different topics, you keep suggesting that we are not trusted worthy, and you keep asking the same questions. You also keep spamming every topic where CriptoDebit.com is mentioned.

No surprise there Sad

Confirmed scam. Bitcoin deposits are being accepted and cards are not being issued. Support tickets are ignored and closed. Anybody going to the site, *do not* "pre-order" the physical cards you'll simply lose your money.

I can only give you a short answer, you have been watching Netflix to much.
I can assure you that's not true.
Your deflective answer is disappointing, when I (and others) raise a valid concern. I've seen too many exit scams already.

P.s as of today  we have more than 1k+ issued cards.
What's the average balance? With 1000 cards I assume you have access to tens of thousands of dollars in user funds. I find that unlikely, especially since you're charging a high price per card and couldn't even find someone on Bitcointalk to take a card for free as a vouch.

there is not one that is being scammed not 1 complaint.
That's doesn't necessarily prove you couldn't be planning an exit scam, which will happen later. Or you don't have 1000 active users, which to me sounds like a lot considering Google doesn't show your site when I search for keywords.

I can only give you a short answer, you have been watching Netflix to much.
No matter how much we proof or answer, there are these 2 Bitcointalk users that won’t stop trolling.

But we don’t give a shit about them guys, within a month we will launch our brand new platform including psychical cards. (Reloadable card won’t be offered anymore)

You got tagged in the end by him, meaning he accused you of being a scam.

By plastic card you mean physical cards, right? And if yes, can you share more info hows that gonna work?

Again Rikafip, it’s an assumption. How can he accuse us of being scammers without any proof, there is not one that is being scammed not 1 complaint.

When we will release the plastic card we will share more info.

And KYCNOT.ME has verified our service independently: https://kycnot.me/service/criptodebit

We are already more than a month live with almost 1000+ cards issued and without 1 complaint. Safe to say, that we can continue offering our products.

You can't claim to have sold almost 1000+ cards. Did you sell more than 1000 cards (1000+) or almost 1000 cards?  Wink

Additionally, without verifiable evidence, I find your claim highly unlikely. No way you could have accomplished this in such a short period of time. How come there are no reviews about your service on this forum or anywhere online?

Hi, thank you for your interest. We already responded to the Russian claim, it was not an accusation but an assumption.
You got tagged in the end by him, meaning he accused you of being a scam.

The reason for this is, that we are upgrading our platform, and we are going to add plastic cards to our platform soon.
By plastic card you mean physical cards, right? And if yes, can you share more info hows that gonna work?

Your announcement is very interesting but I'm annoyed with your red trust in your profile it shows that you have a warning sign created by members here and it's very visible.

I checked the reference link but it's in a Russian board, might as well address this issue first before continuing to offer this product.

I just saw someone in another topic who lost $200 by using a site with "cripto" instead of "crypto" in the name. The latter is the correct way to write it, the former is usually used by phishing sites. What made you decide to use criptodebit as a domain name?

So first of all, this has nothing to do with us. There are a dozen of sites using ''crypto'' and ''bitcoin'' in the url and these are phishing and scam sites .

Can you link the topic please, We use "cripto" because we couldn't find any website with crypto spelled that way? And we were able to register all domain extensions for it.

-snip-

Thanks for the tip, will do that for sure!

This is one of the reasons, off-topic replies.

Sorry if mine appears off-topic but just to let you know that if you think a comment is 'off topic', you can simply report it.
Otherwise, you have also the possibility to create your thread as "self-moderated" and moderate it yourself.

Just letting you know because if it continues, you will have to create several topics per week for the same thing, and that's something that could be not really appreciated by the community and maybe get into trouble with the staff.

cheers

Well, if you hadn't opened a new thread I wouldn't have to ask the question. And those posts in previous thread weren't off-topic at all as people talked about your service, asked questions and share opinions so I would say on-topic stuff and pretty normal for a new service that doesn't have much info on the website. By the way, if you think that some posts are off-topic, you can always report them to the mods and let them sort that out.

Once again I am suggesting you to handle the things in a more professional manner if you want to have any sort of success here and not lock threads and open new ones after couple of tough questions.

What's the point of creating another announcement when you already have one ( locked now) in the very same board? Is it because all those comments in the previous one and you just wanted to start it all over? If yes, then that's not the best approach, to lock the old topic and create new one if you want to be seen as a legitimate service provider.
