Can you share the wallet.dat with me? Seems like unbreakable anyway.

Sorry, just didn't checked this thread.

Sure, could you please PM me with your email address? Wallet.dat containing 30 BTC is okay for you?

I'm interisting to try to help you. If i recover the BTC i'll give 15 BTC.
Are-you interesting ?

Interesting.  You know that it's more likely you'll die in one hundred thousand different plane crashes before you can brute force a password, right?   Wink

not if hes multi boxing trillions at once that are in cahoots with each other Tongue blockBruteforce is pretty tight.

Time to create empty wallet.dat files and sell to this guy. Or create wallet.dat with really good and long password, send coins there, sell the wallet.dat and later at some point transfer coins to more secure, private wallet.

It is possible to find password using dictionary or brute force if the password is short. But the flaw in his business plan is in logic and possible abuse from seller.
Thanks for your ideas.

Because of this I'm looking for wallets without any transactions for last few years at least.

Like this: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/18jANvQ6AuVGJnea4EhmXiAf6bHR5qKjPB
This is either a really good hodler or some sad soul who lost 30 BTC. Good find on the wallet address. Have you had any luck buying wallet.dat s ?
I have walled.dat file for this account.

BTW, I'm spend some $ trying to purchase different wallets on satoshibox marketplace (just google "wallet.dat pastebin") but unfortunately 99% of all satoshibox offers is scam (they selling corrupted or empty wallets).

What is the price?
I'm just want to make a change.

My target - to create collection of password-protected wallet.dat files containing dozens of bitcoins.

hi, i have sent you an email. have one core wallet with lost password. if you can brute force it than we can share, i already pocketed that as a loss
Didn't received anything.

BTW, I can also share wallet.dat from bitcoin core containing 30 BTC with lost password. I'm trying to do various brutforce attempts for couple of weeks but without luck.

lol - why would he share?   Cheesy

The better question is how would he know there's any coins in the wallet?

"Say bro, I got them wallet.dat files for da low low. Just send 1 btc to *obscure address here* and I'll hook you right up. Don't worry bro I can keep those lost password wallets coming you just keep sending Bitcoin kay"

I guess whether or not that will work is going to depend how long it takes to make a single guess. If you can make a billion guesses a second for instance, you could go through all the combinations of a small number of digits quite quickly and it would only slow down by the time you reach 7 or 8 characters, but if the time to make a single guess is longer so you can only make a few hundred thousand guesses a second then even a very short password is going to take a very long time to crack.
