If one of the larger companies in the bitcoin economy would buy buybitcoin.com, I think we would be better off as a whole!

Why does this keep happening...

September 08, 2012 -> Feb 7, 2013.

Why go back that far? There are plenty of fresh new topics!!!!

Maybe because this topic was more important to him than the fresh ones?

Do Topics have an expiration date?
Topics do not have an expiration date, but LordGreynick could have just read the answer to his question without asking it and expecting someone to rewrite the answer for him just because he is too lazy to read.

You may all laugh at Bruce Wagner, but he is still scamming around and bringing bad publicity to Bitcoin. Once (if ever) Bitcoin becomes widely adopted, this will be the same as bringing bad publicity to cash - irrelevant - but right now it can really do damage.

Quoted saying Bruce is illegit (not legit)
Also saying the same thing that
Don't do business with bruce. Randomly he will not pay out for an order, and he's also a known scammer.

Why should I trust BuyBitcoin.com?

Because BuyBitcoin.com has a reputation you can trust.

Bruce Wagner, the founder of BuyBitcoin.com, is the most famous person in the Bitcoin world.
Sigh... Our lord and savior is back.

Saying Bruce is the owner of BuyBitcoin.com

Bringing the thread back from the grave was not necessary as reading the thread without posting after you read the OP would have given him the answer.

Good day.

When searching for 'bitcoin' in google, his ads come up, they promise to buy bitcoins through VISA and Mastercard,

At least it came up yesterday, when googling on my Android device. But before you can use your card to purchase those coins, you need to convert it to cash trough some 3rd party service and transfer it to your bank account, then withdraw it as 'green dollars' and send it to him.

LOL he is currently selling coins at $17.81 each, which is around a 60% markup.

He has a whole page of sock testimonials too.  I was disappointed that a Ctrl-F for "Tod" or "Tom" turned up nothing.

I'm not linking anything so I don't help his SEO, of course.

Hopefully not.  I remember at one point they were almost fanatical in their support.  I considered sockpuppets but honest I don't think Bruce is that smart.

Oh, Bruce knows how to work sockpuppets!

Yeah this kind maybe:

Well, I am not some Bruce fan, but he at least has made something to watch. Of course, it was not journalism, only entertainment.
What do we have nowadays?
Matthew started bittalk.tv, but has lost interest in doing this in the meantime. Or maybe he is only a few months late...
So nothing else.
