Hello,

you know, something without any hassle for the end customer that would like to buy an altcurrency....
No jumps here and there, not having to go on an exchange, etc...

I was just wondering if any websites offers to buy an altcoin directly using fiat like Paypal/credit cards,etc... ?

and/or is there any alt-currencies that offer directly this service?  to buy a coin using your credit card, for example?

thanks to list all of them.

WeSell crypto is a goid one.. I bought dash using paypal from there. Buying directly with cash comes with a down side though. Kinda big fees.

If you are interested particularly in ETH, you can easily buy Ethers with your payment card on CEX.IO.

We accept any VISA/MasterCard in any currency. You can simply link the card to your CEX.IO profile and buy ETH directly with fiat currency.
Later on, you can also sell ETH for USD or EUR and cash out fiat money to your card.

Big thanks to all of those that replied and proposed altcoins and teams that have paths of solutions or solves that big problem that is the (re)distribution of their coins to newcomers without going thru hell loops (aka, fiat -> btc -> alt).

I thought after a full year (2016), more alt teams would have found ways to redistribute coins easily, legally (KYC).

Does offering packs of coins, as "gift cards", respect laws(for example, US laws) or is a gray area?

As for the US laws, there's nothing illegal about giving someone a paper wallet that's linked to a cryptocurrency. I suppose that would be the easiest way to give someone something like a gift card. Residents of New York (and I believe another state) may not be able to use an exchange, but they can still hold coins and trade them privately.

In the past yes it was possible and as far as I know a coin was accepting bank transfers in fiat money and I think it was iconomi during the ICO but you may check it again since they have other investment plans.

Yes Iconomi is the first ICO which started to accept the fiat currency and after their success most of the new ICO have started to accept fiat currency and other alt coints

Which one is the next coin that has started accepting fiat currency, I tired to search a bit but couldn't find any yet. Seems that circle has retired from bitcoin business but I was thinking that it was just a speculation.

Bitfinex has a USD/XMR trading pair. Other exchanges have some alt-USD pairs as well.

kraken also have litecoin, zcash etheruem doge and many others, but if the thread started is looking for something that cover many more altcoin, there is nothing for that

c-cex also have a USD market where you can buy altcoins directly using it without converting fiat itself to bitcoin first.
Bitrex have a fiat market also bu sadly there are no altcoins available which can be directly purchased by it.
If you are living in the Philippines things are very easy you can load your coins.ph account and buy bitcoin directly,I don't know about the others I only do coins.ph and peer to peer to a trusted seller, but every country has their own localbitcoin just check the one nearest you.
He wants to buy altcoin not btc using fiat. Do not recomment something which he can't use and read first. And localbitcoin is a worldwide exhange.

I think this will be good idea for new business, like creating a shapeshift like site where you just accept fiat payments and use it to buy bitcoin than convert it instantly to alt and deliver it. Shapeshift api can help a lot in creating such platform and i couldn't find any similar service right now other than buying them in trading platform.

EDIT: Found one which support number of alts https://www.changer.com/ however i haven't tried them for fiat to alt exchange. They accept perfectmoney, okpay etc.

I bought some Lykke. It was very easy. Just download the android wallet and buy them with your credit card
Is it possible that you can provide more information on how the process of acquiring the altcoin works.  Link to the android app will be helpful or a website containing the necessary steps, thanks.

the altcoin/fiat pair exists on many different exchanges and they all have different methods of fiat deposit. i have so far seen USD, EUR, RUR, CNY pairs.

for a good place there is cex.io which accepts credit cards on top of bank transfer.
also there is bitfinex, not sure about deposit methods.
also there are btc-e and c-cex that have many online payment processors like perfect money,...

but i do not know any "legit" place that accepts paypal there is no legit place for bitcoin with paypal either.

go here and find out about all of them http://coinmarketcap.com/

I want to add that you can indirectly buy altcoins but though bitcoin, so you buy bitcoin from circle or coinbase (not all countries are accepted so please check firstly if they accept your country) and then exchange the bitcoin into altcoins for ~0.2% fee and you get the altcoins you want.

Circle has retired from the bitcoin business.

OP, I don't know if the kind of this service already alive or not.

I read today that the Cex.io exchange has capability to buy with debit cards and credit cards. Fess are not that low though. You can also withdraw to them as well.
