Bitcoin always has corrections. But think if it keeps going up, the corrections may not even bring it down to a lower price than where it was before. So why not just invest now if you're going to hold long term? If you're really curious, you can look up elliot waves and bitcoin and see when a possible correction may occur.

Well, some people think Bitcoin is near to reaching $10k.

i heard that bitcoin will be more than $10k  Grin

And have you thought about who is spreading the rumors? What if those people are early investors just waiting for a pump to get rd of their coins?
Don't always go blindly in because some people were telling you to.

I think Bitcoin will succeed and go higher, but it's my opinion and I'm acting on my instinct, not relying on other people. If I had a lot of money to lose I'd be much more careful, but since I got in years ago I have nothing to worry about.

Hello, I wanted to ask if I should just buy BTC/LTC/ETH right away when I get the money, or should I wait a couple of weeks to see if their prices go down?

I recently started bitcoining, and I wanted to get more bitcoin by waiting for it to go down, since it did go down a lot last month, I thought it would do it again, but it didn't instead it went up.

So, I wanted to ask if I should just buy the coins when I get the money or should I wait for a couple of weeks or so just to see if their prices would go down?

Instead of waiting and their price keep going up, start by investing little by little for now, then if there is a deep, the you can buy as large as you wished.

The price of deflationary coins is projected to always go up, so technically you would never go wrong.

yeah you have to buy btc/eth/ltc coins really they had great demand present so you try to buy and hold it 5 years or 10 years then you getting more money. so first you have to see present market price of all coins then you have to buy. actually coin price depends on the market demand so you have to see first that parameters then you have to buy. really buying btc good decision it has good market demand present.

buy now and don't wait for the moment of that coins will goes down, because they are randomly pump and dump, so instead of waiting for the dump, buy now and don't wait. what if the price will pump upto 20% while you waiting in the market, the chance to buy coins while in the dip are gone. so don't waste your time to wait just buy now as much as you can and hold it until it pump huge.

yeah that's good idea. i think you are doing thing is really good. first you have to see price of each coin price next try to buy it. actually in the world most of the people very interested to buying bit coins. so just try to understand the competition and present market price of coins. next you have to take good decision. at a time buying coins is not good. so first see market demand of coins later you have to buy it.

When there is bad news it should be a good time to buy them. For example at this point of time where the market is bullish, buy them at high price is not recommended from my experience

Consider this. There are two events happening that may earn you an equal amount of bitcoin in a different version cryptocurrency. The events are called hard forks. Hard forks result in airdrops of a new currency. They have to do this if they want the new (and "improved" so they intend) version of Bitcoin to exist and thrive.

If you buy more Bitcoin now you will receive more airdropped coins of the two fork currencies coming up on Oct. 25th and mid-November.

Just something to consider.

Great point, keep in mind that most of these hard forks are likely to surge the prices up as well. So the sooner you hear the news the better, but as everyone had already said - if you are going to be holding for long term then a few hundred isn't much of a big deal. I applaud you on your journey, ETH is a great investment at the moment, it was released very recently and it already has spawned thousands of tokens under their protocol.

If you have only one chunk of money to invest in those coins I would be patient and wait for a good entry point. If you plan to invest multiple time a year, than you can buy right now and every times you get money to invest. That way you would be avereging the cost of all your purchases; sometimes its higher, sometimes its lower.

If you want to invest for long term, you'll be aiming for price differences much more considerable than just a few hundreds. So there is no point waiting for the price to lower since the difference is probably not going to be worth the risk.

Why not just go in right now if you're planning on holding them long term anyway?

Think about it. Crashes always happen for a reason. Weeks to months ago bitcoin crashed due to bannings of ICOs and banning of bitcoin itself on some China specifically. Why do you think it will crash again? What reason do you have in mind?
