whatever service you use, make sure to search about it first. there are a lot of new services that many of them are unfortunately scams, so read some feedback about these services first.

I would suggest coinbase, circle, any exchanger like bitfinex, or buy locally from localbitcoins.com

any big exanche is safe at this point, if you're going to invest a low amount, i would advice for an exchange without much hassles, like kraken

so you don't need crappy id and stuff like that, those are only waste of time for me

If you prefer to use PayPal, an option can be wesellcrypto.com, though they are kinda expensive.

I've bought last autumn doges from weselldoges.com and they were OK and afaik it's the same owner....

I opened an account with coinbase and was able to buy bitcoin there.  You have to use a bank account to buy the funds so you have to provide coinbase with that information.

Any suggestions on how to buy bitcoin being brand new?

I was buying bitcoin from Bitquick.co for the past year. Now they are down for an undetermined amount of time and I would like to purchase some bitcoin.

I am not looking to get ripped off, is their a way to do escrow?

If there is a thread on topic I apologize.
