The early adopter that made bitcoins gets more interest, and later it reach another level, cant regret since they exchanged btc for fiat, later they could be pissed to miss the fortune they could had done with them. But the human eyes is a thing that we always will loose against it,several bought btc at 1200 as 600 and others value ,well bitcoin is going to make 7 years online and has a 300 dollars value, almost, soo for us early adopters we wont regret never since we have the price that several would like to had found before invest above the current price.

I can't say it has ruined anything for me. I stayed away from the start saying this won't last because they were worth nothing at the time.
But now I am alright with it because it is innovation and why say anything against progress if it's in the right direction?

How many of you can admit that buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of your life? I can. I'm approximately -50% in fiat funds now.
Sooner or later some type of bank chain or coin will come and gain mass adoption - while bitcoin still remaining a geek coin
to buy weed.
I know this forum is more like a cult than a information channel what comes to honest opinions but I know there's others
on this forum who feel the same, almost all of us. Don't let your cult believer ego come in the way.

I am new here but no Bitcoin was not a bad decision, wish I would had bought in at .07 back in 2009 when I was first introduced to it. I use BTC to make money not waiting for the increase in value, so it does not really matter about the fluctuation.
trust me man, if you can back in 2009 then you will tryin to buy as much as you can and being milliarder, and if you wanted to make money you need more than shitty 0.07, because 0.07 at 2009 is very LOW

i believe btc will rise again now that more and more merchants online are accepting it.

they would not accept BTC.
they be forced to accept because of the capital control of the FIAT system (chypre, greece, spain, portugal, italia).

they don't have choice when the time comes.

capital control is an other way to name the retirement extinction.
you can ont use any FIAT system to store you economies except ... an isolate one : Bitcoin Network.

Well the bumped bitcoin happened in a short period and most people invested thinking on the 1000 dollars and above recover,if it had happen most of us would sell them to reach roi,as some users wanna just to roi and be able to earn more.Thats why with the current price is a good option to buy some more btc,and well the value in fiat should be something we should compare all the time, you invested fiat and you have the same ammount of bitcoin ,even with 50% less value its time to you to invest the bitcoins somewhere.

I don't know, i haven't really made much money off of bitcoin but I have had a lot of fun on the forums here with you guys and thats worth every penny I've spent on BTC and more. (Even the scamming douche bags)

Also i've collected some pretty cool SWAG over my time here, like bitcoin shirts, physical coins, and stuff like that. Also the negotiation and scam detection experience I've gathered over my time here has been priceless. So I'd say that even if I don't break even fiat wise I've more than gotten my moneys worth and profited in a way cooler way Cheesy

Sorry for the soft ass rant there lol

Nice!  Yes, it has been really fun and exciting at times.  The educational value and experiences I've had dealing in crypto has been awesome.  Many people overlook how valuable the experience they've gained by being an early adopter really can be.  The way the world commerces is going digital and we're positioned to be the first to profit when the time is right.  Early bird gets the worm!!!!

Really nice. Yes for me I love being knowledgeable of what is happening in the online industry. That way you wont be left behind. Your not that genius about this kind of thing but you know something and that is cool for some people. then, how about the stories? i love readimg some stories of life here.

I had bought some btc this year ,invested roi and converted into fiat, soo now ahead i collect my bitcoin from signatures and some others places, and i invest them all ,this wont make me rich but at the moment is the easy way to get an income without clicking ads, surfing websites or give my money to hyip admin soo bitcoin is changing my life to better these days.

Planning to buy a new gpu for my rig so that I can mine altcoins better then exchange to bitcoins after. Bitcoin has definitely changed my life for the better, and I don't think that I would be better off without bitcoin, seeing that it has given me a lot of opportunities.

I wonder still people are ready to investing in making mining rigs. But that's the great effort if you can manage with electricity costs and other maintenance costs like pool fees. Long back itself I stopped mining and still my GPU sleeping in my racks.

Bitcoin has in many ways turned into a part-time hobby for me. You started out with GPU mining and you spend hours to perfect the rig and the cooling systems to maximize the profits. Then ASIC's came in and you had to start from scratch.

Most of this including cloud mining never returned your investment, but you kept on trying for that big break. It turned out to be a great hobby and a good story to tell. The experience is worth the ride.  Cool

Yep, I'd say this is the best way to generate an income for yourself, but the thread is more focused on dealing with the pain of buying at such a high price from earlier and losing half of your investments... But in general, with signatures, you could possibly make up for your loss... it'll take a lot of time, and effort... though in the long run you can make it back (and possibly even faster if you invest in the right places).

Just a side note of curiousity though... where do you invest?

Well one thing is sure this person as others has bought bitcoin and stored it on the wallet, soo since bitcoin droped around 50%  he lost value, because he should had invested it as most had done, who were waiting to bitcoin to return the 1200 dollars without made any investement well are burning their pocket now for sure.

People place all their eggs into one basket and then think, why did I do that.  It wasn't buying Bitcoins that was a bad decision.  It was your lack of understanding that was bad.  You could have replaced this with any trend and you probably would have done the same thing.  Always have a plan when it comes to your money.

I guess it's the same when people (older than my generation) look at photos of themselves back in high school in the 70's and think, "Why the fuck did I wear those bell bottom jeans?", and of course, "Mutton Chops with a mullet? Wow, I really looked like a tool, how did I ever come to the conclusion of rocking that look?"

But then we get back to this question... what if it slowly but surely gets to the $1,000+ range again?  Will people just assume that the same bubble was/is formed and automatically cash out?
