Seems like OP is really just angry at himself and shifting the blame now onto the Bitcoin community. As if anyone made him drink the kool-aid...

You only loose when you sell just keep holding little more and you will not say anymore that buying bitcoin was worst decision. This types of feelings come when you expect to get rich over the night in anything.Bitcoin will change your opinion in coming months.Bitcoin had almost stable price throughout the year you can not be in big losses in my opinion.I would say opposite to you that I did good to enter in Bitcoin's universe.

How many of you can admit that buying Bitcoin was a worst decision of your life? I can. I'm approximately -50% in fiat funds now.
Sooner or later some type of bank chain or coin will come and gain mass adoption - while bitcoin still remaining a geek coin
to buy weed.
I know this forum is more like a cult than a information channel what comes to honest opinions but I know there's others
on this forum who feel the same, almost all of us. Don't let your cult believer ego come in the way.

Cult really?

We are here to discuss informative and rational decisions, you dont see any of that in a cult, its not like we worship anybody here.

I think if you hold on tight you will recover your money, but if you sell now then you only admit defeat. Sure its not easy to see a 50% drawdown (i`m at -20% now), but one day our day will come too Smiley

I stand with Ukraine.
I feel how you feel OP, but it's your sole responsibility that you got in at the time of the bubble.

I'll give you an example. I entered Bitcoin space when one coin was $1,100. For me that was just too expensive to pay for 1 BTC. So I decided to get 0.25 BTCs and to start trading. Believe it or not, I was at 10 BTCs mark after 6 months. Granted that's impossible at the moment since all of the volatility and hype about shit coins is gone. I have also managed to lower my entry price and it's $55 for a moment in average for 1 BTC.

Now not too sound too harsh, I believe that 1 BTC will be worth 1 day much more that what you paid for, $500. So just keep holding. We will get there.

Of course if you haven't invested money that you need at the moment. If you have done that, then you weren't supposed to invest at all.

Yes, I think of that too. At first I wanted to say "sorry OP", but then I realized you, OP, you lost nothing! Just wait couple of months, don't sell your coins now and you'll be ok.

The halving in 2016 will do the job. Smiley

If this was one of the people who bought Bitcoin when it was between $1 and $100, they would have posted the opposite of this. It's just bad timing and bad luck for most of the late adopters. Getting impatient will not grow your investment. I have shares performing worst than what you lost on your Bitcoin investment.

Put on your Big boy pants, and work on improving the whole Bitcoin community, but waiting for the price to increase will just frustrate you more.

I am sorry to hear your experience and I though you are not alone. I was not going to buy Bitcoins directly, I was mining them. The first Miner I purchased was payed easily and from that time I put only Bitcoins back. I am not happy about price of BTC failling, but I do not need to consider it too much.

i did lose money buying btc but made it back mining and trading alts, don't regret it as its useful to have around for buying stuff like steroids that you cant use paypal for and who knows maybe it goes to 10k someday, at least it should go up nearer the halving, would be buying more if i had spare money lying around

Considering I've been intelligent and bought and will continue to stash up coins at the lows no I don't consider it the worst decision of my life, the problem is so many idiots went and bought into the rise without first waiting to see what would happen and if it would stabalise.

Now all your profits are belong to me Smiley

additional problems are:

+ they dont understand it
+ they dont have patience
+ they dont want to learn
+ they think it is a get rich quick scheme

these people can buy anything and will always lose.
Absolutely. when people do not have faith nor patience will speak like worst decision on bitcoin investment. More over people would find the price fall with any share or bond. We need to understand what is bitcoin and what are it's possibilities when we adopt earlier.

I don't think buying Bitcoins was worst decision.I am fully satisfied and willing to buy more whenever I can.If you referred at price and lost little bit it was your lack of knowledge as trader.Bitcoin is and will always be core digital currency after what we will have digital currencies in future.

Worse decision of you WHOLE life? C'mon. Nobody is that boring.
Me, I'm still poking a toes in the waters of BTC, but its far form the WORSE decision in my whole life.
I mean once i enlisted in the military and didn't read the contract.
They didn't disclose everything in it anyways (or so i heard)

Well it certainly could be the worst mistake if you bankrupted yourself buying in at peak price and have now lost most your money. I think one guy on here sold his house to buy bitcoins though not sure how much he bought in at. Pretty sure op is just a troll though.

Well i have lost all my money. I have been homeless. And those weren't even the worse experiences in my life. In fact they made me better.

OP, If you still consider it the worse decision of your life, please consider adding different dimensions to said life. A life based strictly on financial accomplishment is very flat, colorless, and boring.

Bankchain? Banks may use their own blockchains but they probably wont have coins and it wont have any effect on bitcoin because they'll just be used internally. If you believe in bitcoin you will need to hold your coins for several years. I'm thinking 5+ at least for big gains, but if you don't believe in bitcoin I suggest you cash out when you can and cut your losses.

Never buy at the top and everyone is talking about it.

At least not to hodl and hope the price rises.

Now for example would be a good time to buy because everything is quiet
