Because people can and it is a freedom everyone should have. Why hasn't the governments banned alcohol? It's a drug too. It's actually far more dangerous than marijuana, a lot of studies have already concluded this, but why? Because the governments are profiting from these things and the big alcohol manufacturers are constantly giving big amounts of money to officials.

Maybe satoshi did not make bitcoin for illegal transactions but since bitcoin is uncontrollable and can be used without any restrictions people used it for illegal doings, that gives bitcoin a bad name. Here's the disadvantage of using bitcoin, buying drugs is not good for the reputation of the true purpose of bitcoin. And this maybe the other reason why other countries might ban bitcoin.

Is this not dangerous. Even when bitcoins are mixed, a thorough audit can follow a trail. Most drug users and addicts don't even bother with proper opsec. And I have read of cases where people died ingesting drugs bought in the deep market places, even though others swear by their quality. Overall, this should be avoided.

This kind of illegal transaction is very common because it is always happening in the black market where the buyer of drugs are using bitcoin to transact easily so they can have a good and safe transaction because bitcoin is anonymous and cannot be traced down by the police.

Well as you've said, anything can be purchased with btc as long as both seller and buyer is in agreement. That would make easier transactions for drug deals. So even now, i think there are some of these illegal transactions being done through btc. These evil people would find more convenient anyways.

Drugs can be purchased with Bitcoin, but there are multiple risk factors involved. And I am not just talking about the risk of getting caught by the law enforcement agencies. A lot of times, the vendors will just take your coins and then run away. In other cases, the dark markets vanish without a trace, along with your hard earned coins.

buying drugs can use bitcoin, but every one of them certainly does not want to get sick, and wants to be healthy.
so I think buying a drug using bitcoin is a bit complicated. because no one selling drugs also use bitcoin as a means of payment. it's just new to me.
