You can easily exchange that kind of BTC amount on exchanges to ETH. I don't see the benefit in changing it with P2P.
Also there are sites like shapeshift.io & changelly if you want less hassle.

Why not complete the transaction through the trading platform? It's faster and safer! There is no security for offline transactions!

i guess the best way to avoid the scammers is to use exchange ? or simply create blockchain wallet and swap it there. its free
i am going to try this, thanks for advice

While trying to figure this out, maybe you should consider this also because this might be helpful  for you in future transactions

https://coinmarketcap.com/watchlist/

Its easy to exchange those to any exchange out there. You'll be paying more with the fee and cut that your transactor wants but if you insist to continue this.

Deal with escrow. Another choice is to look for a trusted man on Currency exchange.
This is more reliable as those escrow listed are the most trusted and known here in forum

To exchange you have to register on the exchange. And so it looks like a fraud, because you do not provide any guarantees.  Most likely someone will agree to an exchange.

They are numerous exchanges to do this with such an amount you are trading for instance we have; binance, kucoin, idex, crptoa and hitbtc. Those exchanges are the best i have used and can recommend or you prefer a wallet that exchanges eth for btc then you can try Luno wallet.
Good luck mate

You may try to exchange from exchanger like bittex, binance, hitbtc, cryptoa etc. Here you can exchange easily with less cost but high security.

If you can give 4% fee then I can trade with you. Escrow will be minerjones or someone else but s/he should have good track record on escrow service. Escrow fee is yours.
