Safex is a scam
January 03, 2021, 01:45:24 PM

I know BW listed the scam SAFEX about a month ago, since then withdrawal & deposit been disabled & the volume has been high, one to three million per day, obviously wash trading, the price is also unusual about three to five times the price on an exchange with SAFEX deposit open, i am not an expert in this matter but it seems to me that BW & SAFEX are involved in market manipulation, they been artificially increasing the price on BW & dumping coins on the other exchanges that are Livecoin & Xcalibra, Livecoin is offline right now because was hacked.
At the moment i am writing this the price of SAFEX is four times higher in BW than in Xcalibra.
Xcalibra 0.006340$
BW.com 0.023101$
https://archive.is/wip/7yA5u

BW is not answering their users on Twitter & their official account got temporary suspended
https://archive.vn/gaQMi

SAFEX in a press release announced that was listed on other scam exchanges Digifinex, Bitrue & P2PB2B
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/safex-launches-decentralized-e-commerce-151500370.html
Coingecko delisted SAFEX because it was a scam.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.55816614

I will take OP seriously about the warning on the scam exchange BW because they list scam coins like SAFEX
Do you still have doubts that SAFEX is not a scam?
Then read Dan and the sweet little lies

BW.com are total scammers. Their support for 2 weeks every day repeats the same answers to be patient and that the matter is in solving. I have lost my XRP and VLX. Please beware of that exchcange. They are Chinese and basically do not care of the customers and nothing can be done!

Did you manage to deal with this problem? It looks like we encountered the same behavior. Are there any known contacts or ways of contacting them besides telegram?

Please provide proof with every transaction and communication you had with them on the scam accusations thread, so it can be investigated further on the right section of this forum. Right now it's just your word and it can be dismissed as a fud.

The general logic is that the more volume an exchange generates, the more people are trading there. That used to be the case with high volume exchanges, but in the last year or so high volume is a worthless metric.

Seriously yeah, since last year I heard some exchange sites tampering the volume just to rank up in coinmarketcap and when you look upon the site there is nothing specific volume. And by far, this reason had made less reliable for coinmarketcap. To be honest, I'm just using it now for checking the coin ranking.

Do you have the screenshot of their reply? if the answers were the same and they keep telling you about being patient, I guess that no actions were being taken to your concern because of instead giving you an update with your problem they repetitively telling you same thing.

there are too many exchange why you choose to use not popular exchange?
The same question, I don't even know about the existence of this exchange and while there were questions asked about what exchange to use, I wonder how you've been directed to bw.com.
I have had course to use them and so far have not had issues with them, strict on KYC, They are rapidly growing because of the lottery draws they do to buy new coin/tokens which they eventually pump. It is sad they ignore complains from their customers. They are very active on telegram, i would suggest you talk to them directly on telegram. https://t.me/BW_support

If you lose XRP and VLX at the BW exchange, you should include proof of transaction (TX). If the lost coin is not the result of the deposit, then you can do a screnshoot from your wallet, so this provides clear evidence. What I'm worried about is not only lost coins, but you will also be hit by redtrust, because it is considered that you accuse without evidence.

Seems like it is an legit exchange, since most of the crypto related website listed their name and also given rating to this site.So OP need to give right proofs about what he is accusing and also he need to move this thread to scam accusation after he updated valid proofs.
Yeah, since the competition on the cryptocurrency exchange is very tight then we have to delve the truth of the infomation especially the experience from someone.

It could be they just make a false information to cornering an exchange moreover if they don't give any proof.

I'm not BW user, but for this information I'll go netral since I haven't found the negative information especially on the scam accusation board about the exchange.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I don't know why you choose them as they're already faking the volume which is very suspicious. Why would a legit project do this? Only use these exchanges Binance Bittrex Bibox Kucoin.

Please create a Scam Accusation thread about them.

Here is the board to create topic - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

It's better to always do keen research first before trying out new exchange sites, don't trust your hard-earned money to some random exchange sites.
People have no clue about what doing research actually is---most of people's "research" consists of looking at what exchanges generate a lot of volume on sites such as Coinmarketcap.

The general logic is that the more volume an exchange generates, the more people are trading there. That used to be the case with high volume exchanges, but in the last year or so high volume is a worthless metric.

Things are horribly wrong with this space when an exchange as Coinbase is ranked 50th.... the faith of people in sites such as Coinmarketcap hinders them in making a rational decision.

People are far gone when they trust on third party research....

OP isn't active since 3rd of October and didn't give here any updates, perhaps the issue was resolve by then ( hopefully ). However, he shouldn't easily accuse sites if he can't give valid proofs though he posted it out of his emotions.

This is the first time I read about this exchange, checking further I think they are based in Japan based on their traffic ranking I'm also suprised that they have a very high traffic flow, in fact, they have better traffic ranking than Bitcointalk

https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bw.com#trafficstats
https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/bitcointalk.org#trafficstats

They also have a good volume upon checking in Coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bw-com/
You should create your complaint in the scam section to make it a valid complain.
And also give more proof about the balance lost screenshot of trade history might help.

While searching i see that they also have ann here.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bw-worlds-crypto-exchange-5160751 it will help if you post your issue there so they can fix it.

I once traded on BW.com and the withdrawal was smooth, there was no problem whatsoever until the funds were lost, I am also surprised that you said XRP and VLX funds were lost. Large exchanges were not possible to embezzle the user's own funds.

If the email message is exactly the same, possible that it's an automated reply. Didn't they provide at least an ETA?

Tbh I am not familiar with this exchange too, so I did search for more and see an ANN Thread → BW-WORLD'S CRYPTO EXCHANGE . Try posting there or sending a message to the OP @cryptograce, and ask for assistance. Not guaranteed that you'll receive a reply, but give it a try, (s)he is Last Active today.

What you mean on losing your XRP and VLX? You mean you cant withdraw? Be clear on what you are trying to say here so that readers wont keep on guessing on whats truly the issue.Im not familiar with this exchange though and same as others said i dont know why people do really fan of using these unpopular exchange which we do have better ones or on top tier ones like Binance.I dont know what they are seeking into unless if theres an altcoin that is only being traded on that exchange then thats the only reason i can see.

I think there's an issue with XRP right now since I myself cannot do a transaction with the other site so I prefer to witdraw on BTC or in ETH.

But if your issue takes for many days or even months then you should be worried since maybe your claims is right and people should avoid this site, and also if your issue occurs only for 1 day then maybe give some time for the dev since provably they got so many issue needed to attain.
