The press is very ignorant. Bitcoin was supposed to dies in 2011 and then twice in 2013...lol and it still lives on.

Yes Bitcoin was dying so many times that is is hard to believe that is will ever die (for me).

And as we know- it will not Smiley even if the price will drop, so what - Bitcoin will stay with us forever! Smiley

I am 25 and I invested my (small) money almost all I bitcoin, mostly when it was 830 and some when it was 600.  I am really panicked. Please give me some advice. Will bitcoin grow?

I expect it (and alts) to continue dropping for the next 4-8 weeks - Chinese no longer buying - the money to fuel the fire has simply evaporated. Ordinary Mom and Pop investors in the west have been scared shitless by the MSM. The only hope left for BTC is Wall street - but why should they pile in to save a sinking ship? Nothing to stop them from starting their own currencies. Ultimately, BTC is a dinosaur and inferior to a number of new alts which are much cheaper, and much faster.

Right? Then explain this:

I bought in at 550 (back in december) then 815 then 915 then 700 then 630.. then I foolishly sold some when the GOX news was released right around 500, then bought back about 600, just bought a little more at 455 now.

Holding for long term.  I learned my lesson trying to play the market.

2015 for bitcoin, will be the same as 2013 for Liberty Reserve

I never heard work colleagues talking about "Liberty Reserve's" impending doom* over coffee.

Also this thread and some 1000 others in "Bitcoin Discussion" probably belong in "Speculation" but I guess maybe it's time to accept that this sub-forum is now lost.

*(...followed by the question of "what if I want to buy just a few where would I go?")

It will go down to 300-350 and stay down below 500 for awhile.

But before 2015 it'll be 1,000+ again.

Before 2016 it'll be 3,000+

before 2017 it'll be 5,000+

before 2018 it'll be 10,000+

Don't miss, to sell.

You want to buy isn''t?  :-) good for you. But do not suggest people to sell. Let they choose on their own what to do with their coins.

+1

I too like to buy cheap coins but I usually advise people to HODL!

I had a friend that bought at nearly 200, then it dropped to 75. She held hers and is doing fine. I panicked and sold a bunch at 75. Never again. Be strong and remember why you got into Bitcoin.

I bought mine at $15 and then they were down to $1 if I remember correctly. And I was broke and couldn't buy any more.
Ha! I was in the same boat. I was lucky to afford to buy $20 worth a paycheck. But you know, I think we will see the same performance in the next three years we saw in the last two years. Every little bit helps.
