was also trying to buy some byteballs but would rather prefer on exchange this time. assumng the price will soon drop because the rest will eventually dump to exchanges. also price of byteball may seem not really high due to a huge supply.

Do you know how coinmarketcap update their data? There's a high probability that values are added to keep the graph continuous, they also might use mathematical means, roundings, etc.
Having said that, there's also a high probability that all exchanges use fake orders/history, sell and buy to themeselves.
