You said exactly what was on my mind, it's my very first time coming across this thread and after reading the op and going through some of the comments, I honestly thought how possible it is that most of the forum members will be risking up to a $100 on a bet they are sure of, cus in the end, only the op is sure of his games, anyone else putting money on games he posted is only trying to believe in him and his knowledge.

I personally after my experience of putting $2800 in a single bet and losing it, the highest amount I have risked on a bet is $20, else, I am mostly comfortable with $1 to $5 to $10 to $15 bets.

All the same, I understand we have some really high rollers on the forum though, and putting $100 into ops games isn't really a problem for them, but then, op will have to prove himself and his level of sports knowledge and winning skill, if op is good at it, even I myself will possible go for the $100 bet, but this is after I must have tried with really smaller amounts and won 😁

To be honest, I am not sure what he was expecting to happen by coming here and start posting about alledgedly being a expert on eSport betting and promising up to 1200$ only with an initial wager of 100$ in the best case scenario. This forum may be one of the most skeptical places for anyone to participate in, and I believe it is good.
This is not Twitter/X where there are thousands of gullible people willing to toss some money to scammers and con artists to see whether they can get some money back, it is actually one of the things I like about this community.

By the way, even though he may sound sincere at first about his intentions, this could be easily a scam, in which he creates two or more accounts on Telegram, to give completely opposite predictions, until in the end he ends up with a handful of people who are deceived and willing to pay him for further information. It is a very old scam method, prior to the invention of internet.

Why did he do this? Because they know that there will always be someone curious who will get in touch to find out more information and will be tempted to use these services and he went further in his marketing strategy by later making another post in this same thread in which he says the following:

I agree with you. Building reputation is difficult as not as easy by turning back your hands. He needs to give a proof about what he said. A marketing should give his previous work to the client and try to convince them if he really gives his promises.

I am a bit scary when I see he write 1xbet clones as we know how are their reputation here. I suggest him to give his prediction periodically or better daily prediction so we can see if he really have that skills and he can also start to build his reputation here. That can be one of many ways to try to convince his potential buyer, right?

At the mention of 1xbet by OP I became skeptical of OPs intention here this made me check for OP activities but it is obvious OP just came here to set a bait for members. The last appearance was on the 20th till this moment OP have not avail himself to say anything about his or her activities. There is no proof here by OP to show past records of success story or any one to vouch here for OP to be genuine and they have used OP services before now. So I would advice anyone dealing with OP to be alert and thread with cautiously with OP.

There are several problems with following a successful bettor, even if it is legitimate.

1. You don't know when the variance is going to come in. Even if he has a 60% winrate it doesn't mean that for the next 3 months or more he can be at 45%. You yourself say that they prefer to make a living by giving predictions rather than betting, and although it is not exactly like that, you make it clear that they know the variance that may come.

2. Related to the previous one. Just because someone has been a successful bettor in the past, doesn't mean they will be in the future, and variance aside, you could be following someone who is dropping their WR and will never get it back.

3. Normally people don't follow absolutely all the tips he gives, but depending on the money they have to bet, they follow the tip, and by not following everything, even if in the period the tipster has a WR of 60% in the sample the bettor picks up may be less.

That's talking about people with public results and large samples, so people who appear on the forum trying to get established as tipsters are much less reliable.
