Not a bad way to look at things.
Mining at the xyz pool is working well, and it's a lot easier to get some coin than it was early on.
Not sure if the coin I'm mining will ever have any value, but it's got to be worth a few hours of single GPU mining as a gamble.
Pro-Tip : You can currently mine this using a CPU with some success, and definitely find blocks with a cheap GPU.

@Dev please look into this little issue.
I get 10 DEX at most per payment cycle, but i should be getting 17 DEX or more per paymetn cycle as i am the only person on the pool right now.
For some reason i am only allowed to be paid 10 DEX per 10 minutes even if i have more than 10 DEX pending.

Got my DEX from the pool, but it does not appear to be setup correctly.

Unusual launch.
On a positive, there doesn't seem to be any pre-mine, or strange early block rewards.
As a negative, the reward seems a bit unbalanced.
As a positive, the fact the reward is low is probably good, as the massive amount of possible coins will never get mined (so the huge total won't ever be reached, so we won't see a situation where everyone has a million coins and you can't even sell for a SAT)
As a negative, the fact the reward/total is so unbalanced maybe suggests a shortfall in planning by the Dev.
In my book, the Dev gets a tick for integrity (unless the scam is to try donations in other coins then run with the money, which seems unlikely).
However, this might be just another s**t coin with no reason to exist and no use case.
Regardless, I'm going to mine it, because the wallet works, the pool works, and it's worth a shot in these early days.
