We're 3 users left. Since the lockdown is over in a lot of countries, a lot of people think the virus is gone and all is back to normal. There are also forum users who moved to another team since money was involved.
We will go nowhere promoting Bitcoin but the most important thing is we're helping

Due to low inactivity of most of the users, the project to popularize the bitcoin in the fight with the corona seems like failed.
Even tho I have my PC working 24/7, we keep falling in the rank list.

The crypto community I think helped in the fight against COVID-19 enough, although the konencho problem is not solved, but there are already positive changes

Are you guys using GPUs or CPUs to calculate? I have i7 on which I'm running the software but I was thinking maybe start my mining rig as I it just sits in a box righ now.
Another thing I noticed, when you are still fresh to find a WUs it takes some time, now my CPU is busy almost all the time
I'm using CPUs, the GPU is never active. And yeah I noticed it too with the WUs compared to the first week I used.
Besides this, the number of active clients seems inaccurate, for example in my case, it says 2 Active clients within 50 days, while I never used more than 1

...I fully support you. After all, in the first days of the quarantine, fraud was increased by 60%. It's terrible that people get paid this way...
There is no risk as long as you download the client from the official source. Well, like everything you download

@Chlotide, what machine are you using?Be careful what you download, even if it is claimed that it is for a good cause. It wouldn't be the first time someone has misused a time of crisis to gain profit for themselves. Not saying that is the case here but like always: "Don't trust. Verify"!
I agree with that. Of course that is good and noble thing to support such initiative to fight corona virus but we also need to think about security and safety in the cyber world, so check everything before you start to download something on your computer.

Hopefully more active users can join and we can rank up faster, when I joined we were with team rank below 15000. Only 3-4 active users and we managed to go 2000 places, I think it's doable for sure.

Folding@home (FAH or F@h) is a distributed computing project, created by Stanford University, for disease research that simulates protein folding, computational drug design, and other types of molecular dynamics. As of today, the project is using the idle resources of personal computers owned by volunteers from all over the world. Thousands of people contribute to the success of this project. How does it work?
You simply download Folding@Home and use your unused CPU/GPU power to analyze data from Stanford.
What happens with the data?
Folding@home is run by an academic institution (specifically the Pande Group, at Stanford University’s Chemistry Department), which is a nonprofit institution dedicated to science research and education. We will not sell the data or make any money from it. Moreover, we will make the data available for others to use. In particular, the results from Folding@home will be made available on several levels. Most importantly, analysis of the simulations will be submitted to scientific journals for publication, and these journal articles will be posted on the web page after publication.
Following the publications of these scientific articles, we will make the raw data of the folding runs available to other researchers upon request. The data sets from some of our most prominent simulations are already publicly available. We’ve also striven to share our key technologies with other scientists, to assist their research as well.
How can I help
@Moderators, I know this might not be posted in the right section but this definitely deserves a lot of attention imo. Folding@Home has been proven very effective in the past and this is a great opportunity for the Bitcoin community to contribute. We have a lot of CPU/GPU power that can be put to good use!

@Moderators, I know this might not be posted in the right section but this definitely deserves a lot of attention imo. Folding@Home has been proven very effective in the past and this is a great opportunity for the Bitcoin community to contribute. We have a lot of CPU/GPU power that can be put to good use!
We need all the help we can get especially in this pandemic. Only us humans can care for each other. However, even though there are humane people, there will still be individuals who sill take advantage of the situation thinking there will be something for them. So at situation like this we need to verify and assess its legitimacy. It is best to see people of high status or reputation or even real accomplishments of the project. Not because we do not want to give away our coins, but because we just want our coins to be put into something useful and to something that would benefit the people.

You have to choose "Any diseases" and wait to get a COVID-19 WUs. If you go to the news section of the site you can find what are the latest projects published and see what you can expect to work on.

As for the stats, I believe it's not updated for some days? I see me with only 327 credits and 2 WU, is it done every x days or week?
That's weird, my stats are correct, I guess it takes some time to update them, now you have 2,205 credits and 6 WUs and it should be fine. Not so many jobs right now, my CPU was idle for many days until yesterday. Humm, the stats were updated yesterday, look like it's updated every x days only. Also, it often shows messages like 'bad gateway'. I wonder if it's because their servers are too busy so the stats aren't in real-time.
It's like with https://client.foldingathome.org/ which I've been able to access 2 times only
As for me, since I installed it, It was working only a few hours per day, but for 2-3 days it's working a lot more, I've always 2 works in the queue.
