Geremia, this record is for "Whoisguard" company, which is an intermediary protector for the domain CampBX.com.  CampBX is based in Alpharetta, GA.

We have recovered all BTCs from D-DoS time and resolved those tickets in February.  Your issue may be something different and our sys admin will review and resolve it shortly.

I didn't know they were struggling with a DDoS attack.

Yes, it's been 2½ months, and they still haven't "found" my "lost" BTC!

Yeah, you can sue them in Georgia, I had looked into it.  You'll either need to hire a lawyer there (you can probably get a cheap one, just look for a small firm) or do it yourself if you live in the area.  How much do you have at stake that they took from you?

I've sent over 10-20 money orders to them and they've all gone through within 8 days max.

I sent them a MO for $500 December 30th, should've got to their office around last week, and my money still has not been funded.

And their chat support is offline right now. If it doesn't go through I am done with campbx.

As a matter of fact, after reading everyone's bad experiences, I think I'm done now.

Does anyone know another place that accepts cash/money orders? Please don't say localbitcoins.

I guess I'll have to go with localbitcoins, I didn't think it was legit but I did some reading.

Just do a cash deposit from any bank to the seller and I get my coins.
Yes, one-on-one, in-person transactions are definitely more trustworthy.

Yeha, I'm wondering if the removal of Dwolla, and I think they don't even do bank deposits anymore, has severely limited their funds.

CampBX went way downhill after they ceased Dwolla support. I wonder if that had anything to do with it?

STAY AWAY FROM CampBX! I initiated a wire on 12-15-2013 for $16,000 USD and they never sent the wire but claimed they tried and it failed so I sent them proof that they did not even try to send it and they quit responding to my support tickets. They are selectively scamming people! Search a little more about them and you will see. Check their Facebook, nothing but complaints of people not getting their money.

So I tried reaching their online chat tech support, and I reached someone.

I went to campbx.com, clicked on "Help Desk" and in the bottom left corner is a "Live Support" Button. I had always seen it "offline" until yesterday. It was very early in the morning, around 5am EST when the button actually said "online" and I reached them. Possibly because the tech support is based in India? Hope this helps.

Bunch of imbeciles over there.  they either are dealing with a stupid bank, or they are lying like crazy, because many others are having similar issues.  I would stay away from CampBX.  Listen, I had a major problem with them.  They used to be fine for me too!  But something has happened, I assume it's too much volume but I fear the worst.

I agree... it's VERY poor business to lose peoples' money. That is about as poor of service as it gets.

The worst thing is, then I have to pay more money to trace it, because they lost it!

I will never send CampBX money again and I advise others not to. You may think that it won't happen to you, but I thought the same thing until it happened to me. You are taking a gamble with your money when you send it to CampBX. They may take the money and you will get nothing. It's not every time, but it is a real chance nonetheless.

AS OF TODAY 01/09/2014 THEY HAVE RETURNED THE MONEY TO MY CampBX ACCOUNT! I CAUGHT THEIR CHAT SUPPORT (VINNY K.) ONLINE AROUND MIDNIGHT EASTERN TIME AND HE CORRECTED THIS ISSUE WITHIN A FEW HOURS! NEEDLESS TO SAY INSTEAD OF RETRYING THE WIRE AGAIN I JUST PURCHASED BTC AND TRANSFERRED THEM OUT OF THERE. MY FINAL CONCLUSION IS THAT THEY ARE JUST VERY VERY INEXPERIENCED WITH RUNNING A COMPANY WITH THE VOLUME THAT THEY HAVE BEEN HIT WITH. GOOD LUCK TO THE REST OF YOU!!!!

I just wanted to warn people out there.

I sent a money order to CampBX for $1000 on December 19th. I sent it with Certified Tracking which means a signature is required. Also, for the record, I had followed their instructions VERY carefully, printing my username and email address on the money order in very legible printing.

The tracking number shows delivery on December 23, 2013.

Today (January 7, 2014) is 2 weeks later  and still no sign of the money in my CampBX account.

I opened a support ticket and was told "the accounting department is closed during the holidays and they would look into it on Monday".

Monday was yesterday. They never got back to me.

So I tried reaching their online chat tech support, and I reached someone. They told me they couldn't find record of it and I had to go to the post office and put a trace on the money order and get a printed copy of the front and back of the money order.

This can take many weeks, and may not work at all.

This is a lot of wasted time and potentially stolen money.

Now I have to waste more time going to the post office and spend more money to get a trace to prove that I sent it.

I might have just lost $1,000 to CampBX. Beware.  I will never send them a money order again.

And just for the record I have sent them many thousands before and all went just fine. But you can't just "lose some money orders".
