Any government can ban Btc. In any case, since Btc is created as distributed and a decentralized technology then it will be no picnic for governments to find its clients particularly in the event that it gets the chance to wind up standard which is the thing that we are planning to happen.

They could do that, but that will be some kind of censorship, none of modern and western occident governments wants to censor people. That could raise a lot of protests and it’s not the best solution, I think.
If government is scared about Bitcoin, they’ll be better to embrace it and try to make profit with it, like paying bills, or else.

Of course they are, they can try at least Smiley But I think they won't succeed. Because you cannot ban anything you can't control. Because the thing makes bitcoin powerful it is decentralized and independet system.

They cannot ban Bitcoin because wealthy investors are keeping the currency away from government. They are using it as a store value so that it would not be monkeyed by politicians. And even if they tried to banned it and pushed it down on one side, it will still grow on the other like a sturdy balloon.

Now bitcoin position is very strong and also now people have like to work with online like trading and investment etc. Then all digital currencies helpful in this way and if any government ban the bitcoin then it will be a problem for their people. So better for all governments to avoid to ban the bitcoin becasue now bitcoin is a earning source of different countries's people.

Bitcoin is not allowed to trade because bitcoin transactions are anonymous, and transactions do not pay taxes and harm the interests of some governments.
Actually now, most of the government see bitcoins as a threat to the peoples of their nations as bitcoins are used in some illegal activities like buying/selling various illegal items which are not allowed by the government to be regulated in as bitcoins are the anonymous currency and using a simple bitcoin mixer can allow the user to hide his/her location and all other details. Bitcoins cannot be tracked and perhaps now it is a bad side view about bitcoins. Bitcoins should be transparent which would not allow such illegal activities to happen with bitcoins. Hope something might be done soon to resolve this issue.

Government do nothing about it. I mean is unstoppable currency, is only you and I. I mean the users of btc say no, and I believe no one here or btc users we say no. Btc has changed people life, even what so called government has not think of. For me btc come to stay for ever.
Bitcoins were originated as a anonymous currency in 2009 which keeps it anonymous from any tracking and also it has no need to pay taxes. But legalizing bitcoins is a main issue and it think, applying taxes to bitcoins can surely help the governments from various nations to legalise bitcoins. Bitcoins should probably have a good future then.

But actually for now, we do pay taxes for bitcoins once we sold or purchased them. For example in my nation, we commonly use Zebpay and Unocoin to purchase or sell bitcoins and these sites do minus to GST and various other taxes from the amount we sell/purchase.

Bitcoin has been around the borders of financial markets for less than a decade, but is slowly gaining importance as an alternative asset class.
Can the government of any major country step in and do the unlikely?
Bitcoins are actually spread everywhere these days and the amount of investors into bitcoins are in a huge number which would probably stop any of the government to ban bitcoins. Banning bitcoins can give huge loses to a huge number of peoples and even the economy of each respected nation can be declined as until now most of the people's from various nations have invested good number of fiat currencies into bitcoins.

I don't think any government can that easily ban bitcoins but banning bitcoins can really make a huge price dip giving loses and nothing else. Hope bitcoins go well in the future without any such problem.

Yes, they can do it since they have a power but they should follow and obey the process that they have.
They can do this if they see some fraudulent actions that can lead to a criminality through this bitcoin can be sued and banned from their operations in different countries.
exactly what we have to see is that they can have the authority of everything and this is what they can take bitcoin can be banned for but all we know that this is not as easy as we think for cause there is a lot of consequences that it can be.

Bitcoin is decentralized and cannot be control by anyone neither government can control it. Its a freedom source and free for all. Since government can't control it so there's no way to ban it. They can ban only the use of ICO but hard to ban bitcoin or maybe it highly possible they can ban bitcoin exchanging sites within their country only.

Ban is not just blocking exchanging sites and other stuff you said, man. Every government can't start prison people who using bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and that's lame.

Each country has its own legal sense of bitcoin or criptocurrensy.
Some classify bitcoin as money and legal, and some are considered bitcoins as both legal and illegal assets.
After I sought the knowledge of bitcoin, it turns out that United States is the most user in the world, payment using virtual money is considered normal and legal.

hopefully all governments in the world agree with the existence of bitcoin.

About this question about governments banning bitcoins my answer would be yes governments can and have the power and authority to ban bitcoins, this is already a fact on several countries like china and some middle eastern nations who banned bitcoins in their country due to the fact that they cant tax it. Most nations prefer trades which they can place tax or tariffs on the goods or trades because tax generates income for the government and its understandable. So its not a question for now on why do government ban bitcoins buy why and when will they ban it. Some bitcoin enthusiasts Predicts that even if some governments ban bitcoin for now they might re-open to it once they are able to have enough control over any traded cryptocurrency in their country.

Whether a government will ban or not bitcoin is accordingly to their own discretion. Some countries believe in the benefits of bitcoin but other does not want to take the risk of its anonimity.

I always hear this but you have a point goverments can banned this but i think goverments should need to accept this crypto because this crypto helps a lot to al people to improve their economy and theres more but if govwrments banned this we should need to accept this.
