replace the bitcoin is not an easy thing. another altcoin even the most approaching like the ethereum has already lost the opportunity for it. need to be altcoin with a good grid and certainly better than a bitcoin can substitute for bitcoin. but when it happens there will be big changes also in the value of many existing cryptos.

I don't think there are any altcoin will supplant Bitcoin in the future  though now bitcoin has a lot of competitors.  I believe bitcoin will still be No. 1 in this crypto market , no other altcoin can replace it.

Regular question from 2013 year.
ETH cant replace.
ZEC cant replace.
Waiting TON i think it also cant replace bitcoin

I wonder what like will it be, that TON network? I think Durov will not release a bad product, and for sure this new blockchain will attract quite a bit of attention. I hope it will be like an injection of adrenaline in the heart of that dormant cryptocurrency industry and will let in a lot of fresh blood into the community.

about bitcoin. I think in the future there will be quite a few competitors, but it will be very difficult to overtake him - the bitcoin blockchain is developing.

There are many cryptocurrencies out there, the fluctuation is wide and big. There’s a need of a coin that uses a process to stabilize its value.

No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Do you agree???

It is possible though for maybe after a couple of years or so but right now I think bitcoin will still the top 1 because the market is not on the side of any other coins so maybe it would hard for them to rise top top.
Although the stronger the Bitcoin with show developments that continue to rise. at least the other Altcoin also tried hard to improve its development that generates much more progress to make a much bigger profit. This effort aims to make more progress and replace Bitcoin going forward.

I think no. Bitcoin is the mother of all coins and tokens. Bitcoin is the original of all. How could you replace the 1st crypto asset in the world? I think it will be hard enough to supersede bitcoin.

There is always a gap for other coins to replace the position of ethereum. Where ethereum is just a little off, there are many other altcoins that are ready to replace ethereum. But for bitcoin, it's difficult for other coins to replace it. Because bitcoin is the first coin and becomes a role model for all coins in crypto. The bitcoin defense is also very strong, it is in harmony with the community which is in the largest number in crypto.

In my opinion, there is no any other cryptocurrency can replace the seat of bitcoin because we can't compare any cryptocurrency to bitcoin's accomplishment and achievements so even though there is a possibilty that any cryptocurrency can replace bitcoin, I think it will never happen and I would say bitcoins will remain the only very strong cryptocurrency which is the base of all crypto.

I thought something would challenge Bitcoin's crown as its marketshare kept shrinking. But no one else can lay claim to being the first and most well know crypto but Bitcoin. So I think BTC will be king for the foreseeable future.

other coin also shows the development that is able to produce progress and improvement on other Altcoin. It is capable of making the Altcoin have the opportunity and the chance to be the main coin

Bitcoin make a big name worldwide. This coin is very successful and many people idolize this coin but we all don't know what is happening in the future. Maybe there's an altcoin replace to it. Let's see in the future.

I personally do no  want a cryptocurrency to replace bitcoin. Bitcoin leading the other cryptocurrencies is always a good watch for the growth of cryptocurrency in general. Bitcoin falling for another coins to replace bitcoins means crypto is almost dead so it isn't a good stuff to be thinking or planning about.

I do not think this will happen, even in 5 years.
A crypto of maximum adoption would have to be created and I have not yet seen a project so strong that can achieve it. If all the projects I've seen are based on Bitcoin and Ethereum to mention the crypto market leaders.
Despite the volatility that affects us there are still many Bitcoin followers and they keep adding up.

I agree with the majority's opinion that there is no crypto money that could replace Bitcoin at this time or in a short time. Perhaps such a change may be possible after many years but I think Bitcoin cannot be deleted from the market.

I believe that Bitcoin is the most important and most powerful coin. At the moment, no other coin can push Bitcoin from the first place.

This is evidenced by the fact that Bitcoin is tied to futures. Bitcoin is planing ETF, not any other coin. Therefore, no one will come to the place of Bitcoin in the near future.

Bitcoin is the leading coin in terms of capitalization and price. The gap between Bitcoin and any other coin in this value is extremely large, so I do not think that we should expect that some coin can replace Bitcoin. If this happens, it will not happen in the coming years.

Why is there no replacement? Bitcoin is likely to become obsolete. And second-generation cryptocurrencies will take his place. It's just a stereotype, because once Bitcoin is worth the most, then this is the most reliable coin.
