I think it's an interesting question and one that's worth exploring. I don't know if there's a clear value proposition for these companies. But rather than debating whether or not the prices are justified, I want to look at the history behind many of the meme coins, and what has helped them grow so quickly. Some may argue that it's pure hype, but in my opinion, most crypto coins have no real value beyond their market cap—and in the case of some of these meme coins, even that seems nearly impossible to justify.
In my opinion, meme coins are created in almost all cases only to attract attention, create hype and make a profit for her team. They don't represent any value. The prospects of the project depends on how much the team manages to promote it. Of course, the initial investors in such coins usually also make good profits, if they manage to fix it in time.
I think that to a certain extent, meme coins are bad for this market, as they will cause uncertainty and sow panic in the market participants when they start to burst.

Well, maybe I only know few meme coins, but among like ten meme coins that I know, only doge and shiba inu are successful, they are the ones that I know that grow in price, others like Elone coin and many others have even been more of shit coins and a reason to be careful of buying meme coins. I can only prefer to buy only doge and shiba.

I am confused that there are meme coins whose prices are sky rocketing but I dont see any real value these meme coins are providing
There is no certainty in meme coins, they can skyrocket very quickly and can also sink just like that, it is difficult to predict the future of memecoins, because these kinds of coins do not have many options for us to take advantage of, usually they rely more on hype, that's why if they have the opportunity to go up is quite fast and if it goes down it is also priceless

That is what is called a coin that does not have a strong utility, this kind of coin is more affected by hype, so the price can soar or decline very quickly, meme coin is unstable enough for us to invest, in several cases we have found, that meme coin can run quite fast but also can sink in a short time, I don't think it's too strong for us to trade on meme coin

Meme coins like this usually occur due to betting and there is also hype and their value will not last long, then we find it difficult to know the price that actually happened, then not all meme coins we can rely on, because their value can drop drastically in a short time and will be ash forever, not everyone is lucky by investing in meme coins then if you don't want to take the risk just skip it.
Even if the pumping is for a while, it is usually done by their team to make the price go up. can even make a pump when the price of BTC drops.
Their market capitalization is not very large. and market movements are still very risky. it could be a decline that occurs very quickly after you place a buy order.
but it looks like the hype of meme coin is over. I don't see it as strong as it was earlier this year.

Nothing. No value. The prices go up when they get hyped. The prices go up when they are trending. Once the hype and trend goes away, the price crashes very badly. And then once again, a new hype is created to pump the price. The bring useless updates like "burning portal" or "NFTs" or "metaverse" to bring back those hype. Most of them don't even proceed/work on the roadmap while others fail. And then look at twitter, lot's of people shilling for those meme coins.
Meme coins have no value. It is the trend, hype and community that keeps it alive.

Meme is just like for entertainment purposes only developers are taking advantage of the previous bull market to earn huge amount of money from their shitcoin memes, but I found some meme projects that has usecase you can always see them it their WP and roadmap if a meme coin is useful or not. Right now Im accumulating some meme coins at cheap price who knows this will give us huge returns in the next bull market just like Doge showed us.

Meme, the name says it all, it's just a joke nothing more and nothing less. Originally the purpose of memes was to create fun but later they were used by the sharks as a tool for speculation and they created hype around it. Memes don't have any real value in the crypto world, most of them are made for hype and then disappear. So serious investors never pay attention to them, only speculators look to memecoins because they are too risky.

Last april there was an expert who calculated that the total marketcap of 100 memecoins is around $25 billion, of course Doge and Shiba are dominating with more than 70%, of course this is easy to change especially the current market trend is down and the total possibility is 100 memecoins also dropped significantly because Shiba's current market cap is only around $5.8 billion

Meme coins' values are given accordingly to the fun's intensity of the joke. The funnier it is, the more expensive it will be. But be careful, because once the joke becomes too repetitive, it stops being funny, leading the hype to a sudden end. That is when investors start crying and the comedy genre is replaced by drama. Tongue
My point exactly, the hype, the hype is what makes them quite popular. But as you said, the risks are too big to take. It's all about the hype at the time, it the meme coins at the time is very popular, there's a chance that the price is going skyrocket. And since it's a meme coins, It's the classic old scenario which is the quick up and down scenario. But once the hype died down, you better pray that you're already out or maybe made quite the profit before you losses.

Because of hype, these meme coins became popular. Investors who dont have deep knowledge about crypto and like to earn in a short period (most of them are newbies) are investing in meme coins. It has value because of the people who create the hype making the investors to buy because of FOMO. Its quite risky since it has no utility and just based on hype hence its not advisable to invest in meme coins.

Unfortunately I cannot see the value of this kind of meme coin. They only utilizes the hype of the projects to gain more investors, moreover through the community. Many people are promoting those shit meme coins. any teams are also creating shit meme projects after the rise up Doge coins. I think that now, the basic thing of creating meme coins are none, only hype,  utilizing the pump and dump to gain profits for themselves.
Exactly, meme coins is nothing than usual scam on small wave of scam, most of them pump in first 15 mins and dump in the next 15, they value nothing

That's part of their existence. Their prices will skyrocket once they are hyped or backed by big whales, but once they're gone, eventually their value drops again and some hardly recovers. These coins have no real value because they have no real use cases that the community is looking for. So this is why that even if they skyrocket somehow, they should not be given due importance. Otherwise, our money will only go into waste as their chances to survive in the market is very rare.

If you are new (obviously) in the market, you will get surprised why these meme coins and shitcoins are having such a trend knowing of have no market value. And this is to explain how manipulation has been influenced by the market price, whales and the owners could hype and play tricks just to keep seeing the project is worth it because of the price. But behind this activity and surprising trend, you'll be careful as this will give you losses if you fall into their bait. A bull trap was it called and many have become a victim of this thing.
While developers, whales and scammers are to blame for the existence of meme coins, at the same time we need to remember that if it was not for the people those coins would not exist, most people know that meme coins are not worth anything and despite this knowledge they still decide to invest in those coins, since they think they can make money in the markets anyway with those coins, it is because of this I do not recommend to ever invest in those coins because even if you were to get profits the risk you would had to take is simply too big to ignore.

Meme coins serve one major purpose, they bring new people into the space when they hear about elondogecoin going up 1000% and they want to get a piece of the pie. After a few hard knocks they start doing research and invest in real projects like HBAR and CNDL. I don't like how scammy these dog coin projects are, but I recognize that they will probably be around as long as crypto remains unregulated.

Don't get confused mate as these meme coins are created mostly useless, they haven't got a good market value but because of hypes and market manipulation influenced by these whales and project developers that is why we saw them in a huge spike that absolutely surprise us. You can't really imagine from $0.0000000xxx to $0.00xxx ( at least) as that was not what we expect from them honestly.

Well, some people got lucky as they perfectly ride the hypes but the majority are in regret while suffering losses.

Call your grandparents and tell them you love them
Utilizing memecoin only for a moment in good market conditions, besides that I don't think it's necessary to keep looking at memecoin because the losses can be greater than the profits, actually it is very clear and beginners should also be able to see this and ask people -people who already understand memes or something else so they don't fall in the wrong circle.
People who understand memes and memecoins value have no proven correlation. The coins became popular because memes are also popular. But with time this importance decreases as other memes also come into the picture. Because DOGE had become big as a joke at one time does not mean another meme is going to be as big as it was.

It is therefore a high risk asset to put your money into and not recommended for long term holding. While individually a specific coin might be pretty big right now, you cannot guarantee that it will not go down into the dumps in the next few years but for bitcoin this can be said to a large extent.

Hence newbies should steer clear of memecoins and focus on bitcoin. Those who dont will see the consequences themselves in the upcoming years.
