Just use google and Youtube mate. Since you are already know about this forum then I think there is a chance you know the basic idea about Bitcoin and crypto. And I always suggest newbie to use Youtube so that they can find some article/video with his/her local language. And to be honest if you are from any country where english is not 1st language then Local language is better to learn about some strange mater. So lets try. Best of Luck.
The OP has been inactive since this thread was created and it was his first question and post on the forum so I doubt all the user responses in this thread are of any use to him.

Google and YouTube stores quite a lot of information and knowledge about bitcoin or cryptocurrency but not all of that information is accurate and reliable enough because I believe newbie can still get misinformation which can lead to scam and loss of money. Especially about wallet, beginners really need to get accurate information in order to really safely store something valuable and yes this community will be able to help newbie with experience and knowledge.

I advise you read extensively online about Bitcoin as many articles are made available on it, also this forum too is another means to learn about what bitcoin is but you have to be careful and not to fall on wrong hand or advice, take your time and read as many as possible articles by the forum's community regarding bitcoin and you can as well read through some of the discussion on bitcoin threads, local board "bitcoin discussion" also this link provided below will give you more insight on what bitcoin is, lastly i will advise you don't invest yet but learn and understand lots about it. Even if someone should explain Bitcoin to you, you can't get it in details. You have access to the internet, take your time and make research of Bitcoin and you will come across detail information about Bitcoin and how it works. With the internet you can get what you intend to know about Bitcoin.
It's obvious that your are partially right, using internet to study bitcoin as you taught is same thing with someone updating you about bitcoin here, to use YouTube videos or some blog were some people obtain information from might be one of forum members that upload such, i can as well inform you that many user is highly educated via bitcoin foundation or education, so the same knowledge can be obtained and impact to any user who wants to learn about cryptocurrency.

In simple terms. Bitcoin is the king of all crypto(digital currency). Where she goes in price others follows.
No need to explain further. The whole information is out there on google. If you can't understand what has been explained on google perfectly, no need to explain here either

There is no much profit to be stressed by  using Google in order to know what cryptocurrency especially bitcoin is all about, this noble institution called bitcointalk community can as well educate whosoever that wants or willing to know about bitcoin, with all this explanations rendered here, i think op should be able to know about bitcoin at a small length, really who so ever that find he or her self here will know about bitcoin because majorities of things this community discuss is about bitcoin, especially, how to protect yourself not to get lost via bitcoin, the advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrency generally, so what op really need is observation, determination and attention.

That's true but what do you make of bounty campaigns here that expose email addresses of bounty hunters on spreadsheet? Do we take that as negligence on the part of the managers or a conscious effort to cause problems for hunters as some of them may not be submitting a throw away addresses but their real and business email addresses.
It could be one of different reasons and the reason will not be the same. Some use it for dubious means and could be selling the details on the dark web, Some are just negligent and feel that's the way to do it cause everyone else is doing it.

Lol... Oh, mine! You must've ended up complicating OP's confusion with that first line of yours. Those high sounding words are likely going to be problematic for a noob to understand.
If they have gone through the basics, then it shouldn't be that confusing, or they could just Google search for the meanings.

I don't have to provide links on where you can learn about bitcoin. You can start researching in this forum and on the internet for more information. After spending some time on researching and learning but you wanted to test your knowledge then this is good for you for learning. Actually, this also contains answer if you answered wrong but the other one doesn't have the answer but the creator of it can provide you the answer. This is mainly to test your knowledge and it could also be educational.

Can anyone help me understand Bitcoin?
I've heard a lot about it, but I don't really know what it is.
I heard about this place on Google, so I'm asking here.
Maybe someone could send me a few bitcoin-related articles?
My email is [email protected].
Thanks!
Don't rely on people's explanation since you might provably get misinformation, hyping or other things that can mislead you to the things that you will not like. There are so many scams here so best thing to do is to conduct your own studies about bitcoin and learn the red flags about it also with the platforms who use it. Maybe from that you will be educated and can able to start if you want to start your journey on bitcoins and cryptocurrency.

Except you plan to run a service requiring email discussions or you created a throw away address, you should not reveal the information of your email address here on the forum, it could make you a target of personalized phishing spam.

Bitcoin is a decentralized, immutable, borderless, anti inflationary asset which can be used whichever way the holder desires.

Since you found bitcoin in google why didn't you do a research about bitcoin in google. I mean there are a lot of sources of articles about bitcoin that you can find in the internet. If you find it hard to understand by just reading, watch videos in Youtube instead. You see by the use of internet you can explore and discover more about bitcoin.

In short, the internet has the answers to your questions. Take your time and work hard.

This seems to me more like an attempt to gather bitcoiners' email addresses rather than OP wanting to receive help. Either to build a database to sell for mass spam targeted advertisement or to try and hack them to steal exchange accounts, bitcointalk accounts, etc.

First of all, you are making yourself vulnerable by posting your email cause some online theft will send you probably a phishing link to scam from you since you have understood the main course of Bitcoin.
Second, everything you need is on this forum but you don't need to be lazy of finding the answer by yourself and you can also read Bitcoin official site (Bitcoin.org)

I personally wouldn't start with articles, there are many books written on the topic so best to dive into those. After you have a base knowledge of what Bitcoin brings to the table, then you can return back to this place and ask specific questions that will be answered. There is so much to this than just 'What is Bitcoin?'

There is quite a lot of information and knowledge about bitcoin that you can learn for free on the internet and that is enough by entering certain words in the search field such as What is bitcoin, How bitcoin works, bitcoin regulation, bitcoin wallet and so on. That's pretty easy compared to hoping someone will email you some article. Also if you are interested in audio visual, then you can also learn about it on YouTube. Isn't that easy enough?

OP, you can come back anytime you want to this forum especially when you want to discuss something you have doubt about after learning about bitcoin. I'm sure there are plenty of users who will help you get a proper explanation, but I hope you're interested in learning through reading first.

Google search can give you more articles as well, so better give a try at it as well. Cheesy

If you want to know about bitcon technically then first you need to read its white paper which is available here : https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-paper

I don't know if you are going to have much success with what you are asking for. In the age of the Internet, being able to put in a search engine: "What is Bitcoin?" you ask us to do the work for you. This is a Bitcoin forum and you can learn a lot but people are not going to put in the effort for you.

If you look up the information yourself, and after reading it you have questions, we will be happy to help you. The Beginners and Help section is for that.

A little help will do rather than asking rhetorical questions.
When folks lack knowledge about something,I think what they need more is information.

What kind of help did you have in mind?
From what I can see, Poker Player has answered this generic question correctly, and I'm not sure where you found the rhetorical question in that.
