I have being gambling for quite a while now and  I don't think I'm addicted to it but nothing can make me stop gambling. Gambling is like a joy to me, it makes me happy and any time I tried to stop entirely, I would see my see going back to it.

Gambling is intoxicating and can give a great fortune if one is lucky and with the right fate. Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?

There's two different solution for two different types of people.

(1) A rich person reason in playing gambling is for fun, mostly. They seek different kinds of entertainment to burn their money because they don't know anymore where to spend it, and losing it on gambling won't even hurt them anyways. So the solution for them is to make them realize that their money could have a better purpose, like donating to charities and helping those people that are on the lowest level of society.

(2) An average person would most likely play gambling because of 50% for entertainment and 50% to gain money, which most often gets dominated by the latter and ended up losing money instead of gaining some. So the solution for them is to make them realize that there's a lot of safer way to earn money while having entertainment aside from gambling. Although, that's the hard part, convincing them that there's a way, it's gonna take a lot of process but that's the only way for them to quit Gambling.

If you run out of money and your wife is leaving you because you are addicted, that could possibly stop you from gambling but if these two can not stop you from gambling, then you are on your way to desperate times of your life, there should be a limitation and you should have a point of control where you can say that enough is enough, if you cannot do that, then you are in really big trouble.

For me yes there's a lot of ways to stop my gambling activity when i'm that desperate, i've been there at one point where i'd try out different casinos every other day and it took me a while to cool off. Losing is one way around it but you're better off looking for other options like another activity that would kill most of your time. It takes a lot of effort to pull it off because the hardest part is accepting and realizing the losses you've made throughout your gambling journey.

That's wonderful to hear. Though people are not the same as you, I do have a friend who is addicted to gambling and has easily overcome it and i have also my other friend is really struggling, most of his assets have been sold, he is still low right now and trying to overcome it, we were not really close but I could see that he is struggling, he keeps trying to get rid of gambling but I can still see him going to his friends house.

Gambling should be played with pleasure it is possible to control if you do not become addicted if you become more addicted, you will lose everything gambling stops me when I have less capital gambling is best for you to seek professional help now that you will not be able to save your life. In both cases your gambling addiction is bad enough to make your gambling addiction worse you're addicted to gambling, it doesn't make sense to stop getting help before something terrible happens.

Someone who is really addicted or has set his mind to really gamble seems unstoppable to me. You also have to have the time and money for it. If you don't have much to spend, you don't have to worry about losing a lot.
But since the invention of the internet there are much more people who got addicted.

Yeah sure you are not addicted but No one can stop you right?

Now evaluate your attitude towards gambling , are you sure you are not addicted?

or you are just pretending to be not addict but inside of you ? addiction is indeed happening and covering your life now.

I guess you are being addicted because you can not stop gambling, as you say.
If you think you are not addicted to gambling, you can stop gambling although you enjoy the game.
Yes, gambling is a joy but we need to remember that it is not the real joy because behind that joy, you can lose any time and you will not realize it.
I can stop gambling whenever I think it is enough to gamble because I do not want to spend too long playing gambling and when the pleasure is enough, that is time for me to quit gambling and nothing can stop me from quitting gambling.

You yourself can stop you from exceeding your limits in gambling or if you don't have deep pockets then simply you will stop at one point when you will left with nothing so try to have cover at first step. But i don't know why you want to stop gambling if you are already playing in limits then it's not a big problem as enjoying as entertainment purposes is not going to harm you in any form so why put barriers to it? Keep putting small bets and imagine you win huge then would you ask same question? It is just state of mind on which we need to have stable control and know our stop loss limitations then gambling can bring you new things.

What you feel is enjoyment, but I see it in different perspective. That joy could be the start of your addiction, one day you will realize that you can't live a day without playing gambling games since it gives you your desire it's just like an alcohol addiction. I think you can still prevent it by disciplining yourself or controlling yourself to stop at a certain time if you think it's too much, at first it would be hard but that's a good behavior.

This is called addiction because when your mind drives crazy while doing it and you can't think about stopping it which is the early signs. Well, you will stop gambling when you lose your entire money because without money then there will be no more bet making.

I advise you to limit your gambling activities and spend time on other things as well, stuck with one think which gives pleasure to you can affect you mentally later.

No money in the bank could definitely stop me from gambling that's for sure. I'm not a degenerate anymore that it concerns me to spend money when I don't have anything saved up. It would wake me into my senses and tell myself that my entertainment isn't worth it if I am struggling to put something on my plate the next day. Perhaps you wouldn't really encounter this especially if you are from a well-off family, but hard and rough times often force us to drop the habits that are damaging us, including gambling.

Yes, maybe a law? if the government prohibited me from playing gambling games then yes I think I would stop playing gambling games now, also if my family members asked me to quit gambling I will of course, they wouldn't tell it if they didn't see anything wrong.

That sounds very nice hypothetically said, but it would not be so in reality. Someone who has a gambling problem continues to play despite the circumstances. No matter what his family tells him, he continues to play and lose more than he can afford to. As for the Government forbidding ... HAHA! Let's see if you think that in places where gambling is forbidden, people don't gamble. People gamble, but they do it underground.

If you easily get money not from gambling and some of that money you use to play gambling just for your own pleasure, I think it doesn't matter the most important thing is that you don't spend your money just to gamble and you feel happy and happy when playing it.

And if you don't have much money and hope to make a lot of money from gambling, you should stop gambling because when you bet your money will run out and you don't have it anymore and if it continues like that you will live in misery. playing gambling must see our abilities and realize it with
Self-awareness and wise and mature thinking will change the way you think.
stop gambling or can't stop depending on your intentions and aware of your own abilities, because you yourself feel and you alone can heal effectively and others only motivate and help according to their abilities.

Gambling is indeed for now can be used as a necessity for some people because in addition to releasing the tired period gambling can also be used as material to gain profit for people who already understand the technique and high luck.
but on average most people think they are not addicted to gambling therapy in fact almost every day they do it.
If you want to quit completely it never hurts to admit your addiction to gambling. You have to face the fact that your gambling habit has spiraled out of control and, with all your heart, you need to get back on a better path.
In addition, in order to recover from gambling addiction, it is important that you understand the reasons why you gamble. You can't build a foundation for a healthy lifestyle until you know the exact reasons that underlie your need to gamble.
if you have got the right answer i think you will be able to find the right solution to quit.
although it is difficult but if you gamble just to spend your money i think you need to change your lifestyle like that.

The deep problem of gambling is, gamblers never realize that they are addicted. Once you are unable to choose when to gamble and when to stop and when to avoid then you are probably got addicted to gambling and you must need immediate medical counselling before your addiction becomes too worst and ruining your life.

Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?
My responsibility. I feel my duties and I do avoid spending money unnecessary. I have gambled a lot and finished off my rounds mostly in losses which led me not to gamble anymore so that I could save all my hard earned money and secure my future.

Running out of money? Like really that'd be the only thing that could stop me. Not in the most worst case where I have no money to sustain myself, but rather money that was reserved specifically for gambling. I would never exceed a set budget that I have for gambling, especially in gambling, ever. If I do it even once, it'd be a lot easier to do it the subsequent times so I take the time to train my mindset to actually gamble within my limits. Heck, I highly doubt people who gamble till they have literally 0 cash would actually stop, since why would they when they were prepared to go bankrupt? They'd probably ask for loans and stuff like that.

I can only take a break from gambling when I start gambling beyond my budget so it doesn't become a habit. Once I notice I'm spending more than my budget I take a pause for a while then come back when I'm sure I can control my quest for gambling again but stopping gambling completely is a no. It's just a way of expressing my joy and support for the sports I love the most.

We shouldn't be narrow-minded... the end of one is the beginning of another one! It's literally "don't be a slave to your habits", do what makes you happy, what fulfills you, but be ready for changes, changes are inevitable! For whatever reasons you need to change your habit (in this specific case gambling) just do it! It will not be the end of the world, there's no need for crying and cursing... just accept the change and move on!
Of course, it can be hard in the beginning... leaving something you like/love is never an easy thing to do!

I have an old saying, it can be applied to gambling, but it also works for jobs, girls/wifes, or anything...

After losing something stupid people tend to fall into despair, they cry over that, thinking about what they lost... and so on! Smart people recover quickly and they are looking for a replacement right away! Wise people... they always have a replacement ready!
