Altcoins aren't going anywhere if Bitcoin is not in good rally mood, that's how things are in crypto space, although you can become lucky if you invest in a startup project like buy the token at ICO price and later the project becomes successful but that doesn't happen every time
But I can show you some altcoins which price goes %30 in the single day but the BTC price touched the lowest level of the week. Some altcoins have no direct correlation with ETH or BTC and their consensus is stronger than the simple explanation of correlation.
Very few coins can rise without Bitcoin because most of the coins I know are very much dependent on the volatility of Bitcoin. In fact, the underlying crypto market has been clearly manipulated in the last 2 years and it will be very difficult for the market to return to a growth phase like 2020. Of course you still have reason to choose investment because altcoin is very cheap right now but will depend on luck.

There are some days when they are totally opposite and there are days when they are definitely acting together. In this recent fall it was acting all together because honestly everything was falling and not just crypto, the whole world financially got screwed so obviously it all get sent to hell together and that is understandable.

On the opposite side when it is moving upwards it will act together as well, this is more like a "crypto vs the world" type of situation so it will definitely move together and that is how it is for now. In the future that could change and you should be careful, sometimes they act differently because some news that broke up in some coin could make it go up while others stay same. It is just not like that, this is a world regarding global issue for now.

I think at the moment the price of alt will continue to run in place and bitcoin will be superior.
one example, in the past bitcoin when prices rose 50% ETH also rose 50%. but now it's not, bitcoin prices are up by 30% ETH just up by 10%.
bitcoin and ETH used to have a 50%: 50% price appeal but now it's 50%: 20%

I agree after the corona disease spread the market has crashed very badly this doesn't mean the price will not go up, you just have to hold your asset till bitcoin Halving. I am not assuring you but when comparing to current situation it will at least reach 10k, BTC Halving will not embarrass our hope be confident.
Halving is not a sure guarantee that will make the price of Bitcoin rise, and this pandemic is still the focus of investors, they think of the safest way to keep their assets from loss, Halving will only make FOMO while after that the price of bitcoin will go down again.

Of course it is possible, BTC and Altcoin can grow together if we are in a bull run. But from 2017 until now, I only see once in this case. The majority were bitcoin rising and altcoin collapsed and vice versa. We may have to wait for years to come to see the market go up like 2017
- I think bitcoin and altcoin have never been able to grow together, it always has a certain arrangement, rotate with a clear order to create a best balance for the market, as a case you said in 2017, bitcoin is almost always ahead and draws people's attention, altcoins are just waiting to receive a similar effect through bitcoin's popularity. Sometimes in the opposite case, the value of altcoins will rise soon, accumulating capitalization to boost bitcoin but in general, altcoin and bitcoin will go in opposite directions

At this moment in time things have turned worst and we are seeing red bloody market and we see it till mid or even late of the year because of certain decease that struck the whole world affecting most of business sectors and went crashing down. Just like you said it already happened before and was ablevto come back strong we surely get the to that kind of situations once eveyrthings is cleared.

Sure, actually the dominancy of bitcoin over the crypto market is over 50% and that is why most of the times once you see bitcoin increase in price most coins follow suit. Bitcoin can drive the crypto market into another massive bull run which would increase the prices of altcoins as well.
Agree but we don't know when this will happen again just like the last bullrun we experienced. After the massive buying of bitcoin back then, its not yet happen again. Altcoins are also depending on BTC, so its depend upon what will happen to it. Maybe the upcoming halving event will greatly hit the price of the bitcoin. We should be embrace and ready of it.

Now the whole economy is delayed from covid-19 and surely this year will be a year of great economic losses. At the moment there is not any good price increase market and people are no longer interested in investing now so it will definitely be a difficult time. However, if you see this as an opportunity, you will surely earn a profit in the near future because a lot of cheap coins for you during this time.

Everybody in our Crypto Community is happy that we are going in right direction with building value of Bitcoin. This is really appreciable how BTC is improving in each single day. No doubt Bitcoin deserve attention of the world due to its features in any means.

But with the bitcoin most of us also trading or Hodling altcoins together in our portfolio which is logical. Most of the time Bitcoin and Altcoin work inversely proportional i mean when bitcoin is moving upward in mean time altcoins start crashing.

But in last bull run jan 2018 we seen every thing was going to the moon. Now i want to know community opinion.

Are we going for a Bull run like 2018, Or this time Bitcoin and altcoins will unleashed separately.
Several altcoins halving situation is making harder to available any coin. Last year Litecoin, this year Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum 2.0. I think Bitcoin and altcoins can be bullish together when update and supply decrease will same time. You can buy top coin directly from bank so first priority has top coin.

Of course, they can, we have seen it before! Bitcoin bull run starts first, then altcoin starts dumping for a while and after a certain time altcoin starts the bullish run too! And from there Bitcoin and altcoins grow together! I don't know what will happen in the next bull run, but this journey will be the same!
There is no thing that needs to be talked right now as the relationship between altcoin to be pegged with altcoin is really strong enough as long. this is just the matter of the fundamental of bitcoin that can make altcoin gets a huge pump too like what was getting by bitcoin.
I think a question like this is not yet relevant when we have been watching the reality that is still happening in the market

I don't think it has ever happened before that bitcoin and altcoins go bullish together. And this is because the are two different entities and altcoins. Altcoins are usually dependent on the bitcoin movement. If you study previous bull run graphs, you will see that altcoins usually increase after bitcoin might have increased to its peak.

Altcoins that can keep pace with the growth of bitcoin are only those with real developments in place. Those that have real usage in the market. Because without good foundation, I don't think an alt can keep up with bitcoin. So yes, it is possible that an alt and bitcoin can be bullish together but of course there are some conditions embedded with it.

Everybody look upto to bitcoin which is the normal thing and has been usual for growth, once bitcoin price skyrockets, hopefully altcoins will definitely follow suit but sometimes bitcoin will increase and affects altcoins which is reason why we have bitcoin and altcoins season but for this period and market condition, everything should follow bitcoin.

No!, on multiple occasions they don't go bullish together in light of the fact that, Bitcoin and Altcoins are two unique elements that remain with various assessments. There are examples in 2018-2019 when just Bitcoin went bullish and all different Altcoins went bearish even the second in order, the Altcoins (Ethereum). In spite of the fact that there are a few cases that the two cryptocurrenciies bullish together particularly when the Bitcoin halving is occurring, similar to what we have ahead for Bitcoin

Of course, they are because sometimes altcoins were tied up to the price of Bitcoin and that's why there are sometimes they become bullish together. The market grows was obviously made by Bitcoin and 85% of altcoins were also swinging when Bitcoin price move.
Technically, there's a chance that they will become bullish together. But there are shitcoins that there's no hope and going to die because they had no further support to grow.
